They were too fragile to be discovered so quickly by anyone. Even Porsche, who for some stupid reason was a prophet of all of this and knew that they would end up together. Too bad he didn't warn Chay about how harsh the road to that point was going to be.
Chay was on his feet in less than a second, clearing his throat he said the first non-suspicious thing that came to his mind "...that's why you should be careful next time! I'm not your nurse!"
Kim's cold mask was already on once Porsche stepped into the room, with arms behind his back, Kim was half-laying on the bed, his eyebrow cocked in question, "ever heard of knocking?"
Porsche leaned on a door frame, hands crossed on his chest, "I was looking for my brother. Interesting that he isn't in his room but here. Where is your shirt, if I may ask?"
"Hia," Chay smiled innocently, touching Porsche's shoulder, "Kim had a little accident, and I was helping him."
"Helping him?" Porsche eyed Kim with a careful eye, "what happened?"
"None of your business," Kim replied sternly.
Chay laughed, "hia, you should have at least knocked. It's Kim's room now. Plus, he needs to rest now. So, if you won't mind," Chay pushed Porsche out of the room.
"Hey, wait!" Porsche stood firmly in front of the door. A deep wrinkle was visible between his eyebrows, "Chay, what's happening? Did he do something to you?"
Chay signed and grabbed the doorknob to close the door behind himself, "Kim wouldn't hurt me, hia. I don't get what your problem is. You were the one who hoped that me and Kim would get close and now when we are actually friends, you have a problem?"
There was a slight tick to Porsche's jaw that Chay almost missed, but then Porsche smiled, "I don't have a problem with it, I was just surprised 'cause you said that we'll talk about the mission you and Kim went on, later and it's almost 10 pm and you still haven't come to see me. And now, instead of your room, I've found you in Kim's room and on top of that with him half naked. I do have some questions."
Chay huffed, "sweet that you finally care, but it's okay, you don't have to be worried. Like I said, Kim had a little accident, and I was helping him. I had no idea that so much time had passed. Plus, I and Kim were talking about our mission, too. If it's fine with you I'll come to see you tomorrow."
With a pang of guilt in his eyes, Porsche reached to Chay and hugged him, kissing the crown of Chay's head, "I always care, nong. I'm sorry if it sometimes seems like I'm not. But I promise, I always do."
"Yeah, I know, hia," Chay mumbled into his brother's tight embrace.
Porsche's body relaxed. Slowly, he let go of Chay and ruffled his hair, "don't forget to come to see me about the mission tomorrow. Sleep well." With that, he left just like he came, quietly.
