"... and the boy will find the other after something gruesome, something awful, and yet something so familiar to both of them. They will hate each other at first. Hurt each other beyond words. The pain of the other will become the pain of both. But they'll learn... learn together how strong the love can be."

"She really knew everything," Kim breathed out and nuzzled his head even more into Chay's lap.

Chay let one of his hands slip from the pages of the book and caressed Kim's hair in repeating soothing circles, "she was really something. I'm kinda sad we could never meet her. Especially you."

"It's fine. I have you."

Chay giggled and pressed a kiss on Kim's forehead, "am I your mom now?"

"You are my everything," Kim replied and shuffled a little on the bed to be even closer to his husband if it was even possible. "Read me a little bit more."

"I like this one," Chay said and cleared his throat, "when those who brought the unimaginable suffering on the little boy will burn into the fire of their own sins, that's when the new life of the boy will truly start... my boy... with his boy by his side."

"She knew even that I would want to burn that place, and yet she couldn't prevent Korn Theerapanyakul from throwing me into thrash..."

"If she did that, no of this would happen," Chay shook the book in his hand. "You wouldn't be my husband, and I wouldn't be yours."

Kim rolled over and caged Chay's body between his body and their bed, "who knows, maybe our brothers would still find their way to each other."

"You mean your brother would still kidnap and torture me," Chay cocked his eyebrow.

"At least I wouldn't do it later as well."

"Ohh... how can you be so sure, hmm?"

"I can't," Kim shook his head, "but I like to think that if we met under different circumstances, I would never hurt you."

"Past is important, baby, because things had to happen in the way they did for our present to look the way it looks, but once we are in our present, the past is behind us and we should let it stay there, peacefully. Let the past live its life without us."

"Does this mean, in our present, I have never hurt you?" Kim asked, his eyes hopeful and bright lingering on every inch of Chay's beautiful face to have it all always fresh in his memory before he looked into Chay's eyes once again.

Chay's eyes were sparkling just like they always did, looking at Kim. For a moment, they closed, and Chay shook his head, replying to Kim as he opened them again, "never, my husband, never."

Kim caressed Chay's face; the bridge of his nose, the cupid bow of his lips until he finally pressed their lips together. Kissing Chay would always be his favourite thing to do. Nothing came even close to feeling as good as having Chay's lips on his own. Savouring every moment like this was all Kim wanted to do for the rest of his life. Tonight, everything was going to be over. The nuns will burn in the worst kind of hell, and he would finally be able to let that neglected and hurt little boy go. He wasn't that little boy anymore. All he had to do was to let him go with everything he deserved.
