"People hating me doesn't faze me. People loving me...that would be concerning."
A group of criminals with supernatural powers are getting ready for the biggest heist of their lives, but for it to work they need Kimhan the Executioner.
However, it'...

Being understood was a new feeling for Kim. It tasted sweet with bitter tones of never been understood before.
Chay hooked his arm around Kim's hand, pulling him into his room. "Hia and p'Kinn are leaving early in the morning for Japan for a week so I have to wake up early to talk to him about the details of our mission, which means it's time for us to sleep. You can go shower first, and then I'll look at your scar."
"I...can sleep here?" Kim asked, surprised.
"You don't want to?" Chay cocked his eyebrow, picking up Moonshine, who was already meowing at him from the floor.
"I'll go grab some clothes," Kim quickly walked out of the room before Chay could even offer Kim his own clothes.
"Well, too bad for you, Kimhan." Chay scratched Moonshine's neck and smiled as Moonshine started purring in contentment. "You'll have to sleep on the floor tonight, buddy. One clingy cat in my bed is gonna be more than enough."
"I'm not a cat," Kim's voice came from behind Chay.
Chay smirked and whispered to Moonshine, "see? He didn't deny that he is clingy."
"I'm not clingy either," Kim mumbled and disappeared into the bathroom.
"That's two lies in a row," Chay chuckled, kissed Moonshine's head, and let him jump off his arms.
It was a long time since someone slept with Chay in his bed. The last time it was Porsche, shortly after their parents died. Chay had an awful nightmare, screaming so much that it woke Porsche, and at that time, he still cared enough to hug his little brother tightly and guard his sleep one more time. But that was it. Since then, it was just Chay in his king-sized bed. Chay and his nightmares. Chay and his lonely thoughts.
"I think that I can let it breathe tonight," Kim walked out of the bathroom. "Bandages would make it worse now."
Chay nodded. His name was healing pretty well. There was no reason for bandages during the night, especially when it was only the two of them who could see it.
Chay stepped closer to Kim, kissed his naked shoulder, and whispered, "remember, if you want me to heal it, just say, okay? I'll be right back."
When the bathroom door behind Chay closed, Kim stared at them for a couple of more minutes, his hand holding the place where Chay kissed him.
For the first time ever, Kim wasn't going to fall asleep alone and cold. For the first time ever, there was going to be a warmth, a human touch that he was going to feel just before falling into the world of nightmares. Or maybe not. Maybe with Chay, the nightmares would stay away. Float somewhere above him but never be able to touch him because he wasn't alone anymore. Now, there was a shield around him made out of care and comfort. Made out of everything nightmares weren't.
