"Davide, show her the house." Vincenzo said

Davide stood up and quickly came up to me, I stood up and we were already standing next to door and then "I wanted to ask you something..." I said loudly

"What?" Vincenzo asked as he furrowed his eyebrows

"What exactly happened...why I had to live with another man, my whole life...was I really kidnapped?" I asked

"Yes. He kidnapped you." Vincenzo said as he breathed out slowly

"What happened to our parents?" I asked curiously

"They are dead. There is nothing more you should know." Vincenzo said

"I have question for you..." Vincenzo started

"Yes, what do you want to know?" I asked

"How was he treating you? Miguel...Miguel Delgado that was his name, right?" Vincenzo asked

"I don't want to talk about it..." I said as I was ready to leave the office

"Alright, I will have that talk about it with you later anyway." Vincenzo said as he let us walk outside

As we walked outside the office I was so confused about the conversation I just had with my eldest brother.

"Did he mean it seriously?" I asked concerned

"Yes. He is really strict and harsh about those things." Davide said

"Harsh?" I asked

"Yes, better to not disappoint him." Davide said

Got it...harsh=abusive...one wrong word or step and he will turn into Miguel. Alright...got it, I can't trust him.

Davide gave me a little tour through the big mansion. Now I know where is kitchen, living room, Vincenzo's office, bedrooms, pool etc...

"Davide..." I awkwardly said

"What, Lissy?" Davide asked as he looked at me

"I wanted to ask...what are you doing for a living? This mansion is so big..." I said

"Nothing you need to know about." Dante's deep voice sent shivers through my spine, he was right behind me

I couldn't say anything. It was like he hated me for something. He just met me...why is he so rude?

I didn't say anything, but he looked at me with this hateful face expression and then he walked away.

"Why is he hating me so much? Did I do something wrong?" I asked as I looked at Davide

"No, you didn't. He is like that, always...don't pay attention to him." Davide said as we walked upstairs

It's hard to not pay attention to human who is hating on you without even knowing you. He is making me feel like I'm a burden, which I am...I already know that.
