I was sitting in the kitchen when Vincenzo came inside. He came back home. He didn't leave me.

"Lissy, what are you doing here?" Vincenzo asked confused as he saw me

"I was waiting for you to come home." I said "Where's Domenico, Davide and Giovanni?" I added as I furrowed my eyebrows

"They stayed there longer. Where's Jax?" Vincenzo asked as he kissed my forehead as he walked past me

"Jax's in my room, in his playpen sleeping. Dante told me that you were in the nightclub. Why were you there?" I asked curiously

"We met my best friend Andrew and his wife Ava. You will meet them on the weekend. Ava can't wait to finally meet you." he said as he grabbed bottle and sipped water from it

"Do you think that they will like me?" I asked nervously

If Andrew is Vincenzo's best friend, I want to leave good first impression of myself. And he said that Ava can't wait to meet me...I will try my best to make sure they like me.

"Lissy, they will love you. Andrew knows you almost as well as I do. We are best friends since we were born...so he already likes you. That's one of the reasons he came back to this town." Vincenzo said and weight disappeared from my shoulders

"That's good." I breathed out loudly

"You are a good secret keeper, right?" he asked

I blinked a few times and then I nodded my head.

"Don't tell this to anyone, but Ava told me that she's pregnant. She and Andrew will have a baby. And I will be a godfather." Vincenzo said as he smiled and seemed excited

"No way. That's so good." I said as I walked up to him and I hugged him tightly

"Whoa...Lissy, you're such a sweetheart." he said as he kissed my head

"Can I go to school tomorrow? Vi and Cole asked me if I will be there tomorrow." I said as I looked up to see his eyes

"Lissy, about that...don't you think that it would be better if you were homeschooled?" he asked

"No. I want to go to my school. I have friends there." I said strictly

"Okay, okay...but I will hire a bodyguard for you." he said as he ran his hand through my hair

"A bodyguard? Vincenzo, I don't need a babysitter." I said as I made eye contact with him

"He won't be a babysitter, he will just make sure that you are okay and he won't let anyone near you...you will be safe, no one will hurt you." Vincenzo replied strictly

"I get your point, but...gosh...what will my friends or classmates think..." I said as I sighed

"I will be happier if someone I trust will keep his eyes on you. That doesn't mean that I don't trust you. It's just so you're safe while being out of this house." Vincenzo explained

"I guess that's okay, as long as I can have my privacy in the girls locker-room or washroom. And as long as he doesn't listen and snitch my and my friends conversations." I said as I looked at him
