Vincenzo left the house and I was still in the kitchen with Matteo.
"So, you want to do something together?" Matteo asked and I looked at him with excitement
"Really? You are always so busy." I said as I rubbed the back of my head
"I'm not busy today. We can watch a movie and think of something later." Matteo said as he pinched my cheek
"Alright. Okay. What movie?" I asked as I saw that he is taking nachos and gummy bears
"Take what you want to drink." Matteo said as he pointed at the drinks
I took two sodas and we walked through house to the living room.
"You should go and put on something else, it will be cold for you in pajama shorts." Matteo said and I looked at my legs
"Okay, you can choose a movie while I'm gone, but not a slasher." I said as I looked at him and we placed everything on the coffee table in front of us
He nodded his head and I rushed out of the living room. When I ran upstairs Santino stopped me.
"Where are you running, princess?" Santino asked me with raised eyebrows
"To change into something else. It's too cold for shorts, Matteo said." I said as I smiled "We will watch a movie, you want to watch with us?" I asked in excitement
"Oh, sweetheart, I would love to, but I have to go." Santino said as he kissed my forehead
"Go where?" I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows "What can be more important than spending time with me?" I asked as I chuckled
"I will be back later, then we can spend time together, princess." he said as he smiled at me
"Okay." I said "But you didn't tell me where you are going." I added
"Work." he said and I nodded my head "Don't worry, I just have to check on a couple of things, I will be back." he added
"Be careful." I said as I hugged him
"Always." he said as he kissed my hand, I blushed
"Why's your knee bruised?" he asked in worry as he crouched down to look at my knee
"It's nothing." I said as I clapped on his shoulder
"It doesn't look like nothing." he said as he touched the bruise
"Ouch...don't touch it." I said as I backed away
He stood up to his full height and picked me up like I was a princess in some movie.
"I can walk, Santino." I said as I rolled my eyes
"What happened to your knee, Lissy?" he asked as he carried me to my room
"Promise me that you won't be mad." I said as I crossed my arms
"I promise." he said, but he was clearly lying
