It's been three days since I met my Santino after the shit we went through. Domenico insisted that we both have to stay in the clinic. But I'm not complaining. I have a comfortable bed, cool bathroom with shower and everything I need in here.
And I'm not talking about clothes or other stuff. I'm talking about Santino and Jax. Jax is staying with us in this clinic. Domenico wasn't happy about it, but I said that he's my service dog and I need him by my side.
Our brothers are coming over every day. Sometimes more than once and they bring us food. It's the best part of the day.
"Let's guess which brother will bring us dinner today..." I said as I smiled and looked at Santino
"It's not interesting if we can't get something out of it. If you guess right I will give you another bundle of money, hm?" Santino asked as he looked at me with that smile, he is always smiling so genuinely
"But if you guess right...I don't have anything to give you." I said as I placed my head in my hands
"You are already giving me everything I could possibly want." Santino said and my heart warmed
"Like what?" I asked as I blushed in excitement
"It's you. It's always you. You are giving me that smile of yours. That's all I want, to see your smile, Lissy." Santino said and I made that cute 'Really' face expression
"So...you start." he said and I bit my lower lip
"But we can't say the same name." I said and he nodded his head
"I think that it will be Vincenzo or Giovanni." I said as I looked at Jax in my lap
"Pick one." he said and I sighed "Those are the rules." he added as he chuckled
"Well...Giovanni already called me a couple of times today. Five times to be precise. So I think that Vincenzo will probably bring us the dinner. He wants to make sure we all alright." I said as I mocked Vincenzo's voice
"Okay. I will go with Enzo, he is always thinking about food, he will eat his food and then he will eat our food too. He will probably bring us
his leftovers." Santino said as he shook his head
"We will see." I said as I looked at the door, then back at Jax
Jax was wagging his tail and trying to bite my fingers playfully.
"I think it's time for us to stop playing Jax. You are biting too hard." I said as I kissed his head and I slowly stood up
"Where are you going?" Santino asked as he furrowed his eyebrows
"Away." I lied as I tried to hide my smile
"I'm going with you." Santino said as he tried to gather his strength to sit up
"Don't even think about standing up, I'm only going to bathroom." I said as I smiled
"Oh...okay." Santino said as he pressed his head against the wall again
"Give me that puppy. I will talk with him about biting my little sister." Santino said as he clenched his jaw as he looked at Jax
