"No. I want to go to my room." I said, trying to stand up, but Dante grabbed my arm, holding me in place.
"Please, Lissy. Don't make this harder," Dante said, his grip tightening.
"I want to go to my room. Please," I repeated, panic rising in my chest.
"What's wrong with you?" Enzo asked, furrowing his brows, confused by my reaction.
"I need you to take this pill...swallow it with water," Domenico said, handing me a bottle of water.
"I don't want to," I snapped angrily. How could they be serious about this? I threw the bottle away in frustration.
"Elizabeth, stop resisting," Vincenzo said, his voice stern—he was furious, and I could see the anger in his eyes.
If they take that stupid blood test, they'll see my bruises... but I can't let them think that I'm... Stupid. Coward. Weak.
"Give her the pill," Matteo said, picking up the bottle from the floor.
"Take the pill, Lissy," Domenico insisted, holding my face gently.
Dante held me down, his strength making it impossible for me to move, but he was trying to be gentle.
"Why do you need this stupid test anyway?" Santino asked, visibly angry at the situation, at our brothers pushing me into this.
"The MRI didn't look good. We need to do the blood test right away," Domenico said, his voice full of serious concern.
"Lissy, please... don't be scared. We're here with you," Davide said softly, kneeling by my legs, his presence comforting but also making me feel more trapped.
"Please, don't make me do this," I begged, my eyes welling up with tears.
"Lissy, it'll be okay... it's for your own health," Santino added, moving closer to me, his voice filled with care.
Domenico tried to push the pill into my mouth, but I spit it out in defiance.
"For fuck's sake, Elizabeth, STOP!" Vincenzo shouted, his anger boiling over.
I froze, staring at him, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Is there something you want to tell us?" Vincenzo asked, glaring at me with cold eyes.
"No. I want to go. Please," I begged, tears threatening to fall as I met his gaze.
"Lissy, we have to do this," Domenico said firmly.
"We'll do it by force if we have to," Vincenzo added coldly. "You didn't want the pill, so just stop resisting and it'll be over before it even starts."
"No..." I whispered, my voice trembling in fear.
"Don't worry, Lissy," Giovanni said, his voice trying to sound reassuring, but the tension in the room made it hard to believe.
Dante held me down with his strength; I couldn't budge. Davide... my Davide... held my legs. It felt like a betrayal, like no one was on my side. The twins were watching, confused. Giovanni turned his head, unable to watch me cry. Vincenzo's face was a mask of shock, but he knew this was necessary. Dante whispered in my ear, his voice laced with guilt.
