"I don't understand, why she can't remember me?" I asked as I looked at Marco

"Santino, they hit her head. I would be surprised if she remembered." Marco said as he looked at me like I'm insane

"She's been unconscious for three weeks. First thing she asks me when she sees me again is who I am." I say, concern and worry in my voice

"I can't do anything about it, Santino. We just have to hope that she will remember." Marco said as he clapped my shoulder to reassure me

"For fucks sake, Marco, you are getting on my nerves." I said as I walked back to room where my Lissy was laying

As I entered the room she looked at me with her big, pretty eyes. She still doesn't remember who I am, she looks at me like I'm a stranger and that's killing me.

I can only hope that she will remember. But there's no guarantee.

"How are you feeling, sweetheart?" I asked as I sat next to her

"My head hurts a little." she said as she closed her eyes and opened them again seconds later

"You want more medicine?" I asked as I petted her head

"Yes, please. You can ask your doctor brother, what was his name again?" she asked and I sighed loudly

"Domenico is our brother. He is your brother just as much as he is mine." I said as I held her small hand in mine

"Right." she murmured as she looked at her lap

"I will be right back." I whispered in her ear

Just as I left her room, tears filled my eyes. She is so confused and I can't do anything to help her.

I walked to Domenico's office and opened doors without knocking. There was sitting Dante, his arm was broken after the car crash, but it's healing now.

"Lissy needs more medicine, her headache is getting worse again." I explained as I sat in the chair next to his desk

"Still nothing?" Dante asked as he looked at me with sadness all over his face expression

"No. She said that I can ask my doctor brother for medicine. Not her brother or even our brother, but my brother. She didn't remember your name, Domenico." I said as I placed my head in my hands

"It will be okay. She's a fighter." Domenico said as he squeezed my arm to reassure me

"We have to help her with the memories. Matteo will bring Jax from vet clinic later. He's finally okay. Maybe she will remember him." Dante said and I nodded my head

I remembered her face expression when she saw all the puppies in front of her. She was so happy. I would do everything so she would be that happy again.

"That's a great idea." I said as I stood up from the chair

"Where do you think you're going?" Domenico asked as he looked at me with his big brother gaze
