96| It's just the beginning.

After talking with Vincenzo and Dante for half an hour about my godfather, I decided to go to the kitchen to take something to drink.

They told me that he is not like everyone, his friends are bad people and they told me bad stuff about him. And sadly he doesn't have wife or kids. Dante told me that he's always thinking about business.

I walked into the kitchen and Jax practically run towards me. He wagged his tail and I petted him gently.

"There she is." Domenico muttered as he pinched my cheek

I pushed his hand away. I don't like when they treat me like a little kid.

"Hey, Lissy." Davide said as he looked at me

"Hi." I said as I smiled a little

"Why so serious?" Domenico asked as he crossed his arms and sat on the stool

I rolled my eyes at him and then I took water bottle and drank some water out of it.

I was happy that I have a godfather, but what Vincenzo and Dante told me is making me anxious. And I couldn't keep my mouth shut as always.

"I want so see my godfather so badly and I don't really believe that he's that bad." I said as I sat on the stool next to Domenico

They froze and looked at me with confused face expressions. They didn't know?

"You know about him?" Domenico asked and I just couldn't be mad at him for keeping it as a secret

I am too happy to be angry right now.

"Yes, I will meet him tomorrow, I can't wait." I said as I pressed my head against the counter

"What the actual fuck?" Davide asked as he stood up and rushed out of the kitchen

I looked at his little drama act with furrowed eyebrows. What is this about?

"Lissy, who told you about him?" Domenico asked me with straight face expression

"Vincenzo and Dante. They told me weird stuff about him too. But I don't think that he is that bad." I said as I shrugged my shoulders

"Federico is dangerous man, Lissy. I don't want you around him." Domenico said and I shook my head

"They already told me that. It's my godfather so I think that I have a right to meet him and decide whether it's true or not." I said as I looked at him with so much confidence

"Stay here." Domenico said as he left the kitchen

Why are they acting like this? I don't understand. If he's so dangerous or bad, then why Vincenzo said that I have to meet him in the first place?

"Oh, where would I go?" I muttered under my breath

As I played fetch with little Jax, Giovanni came into the kitchen. As I saw him my lips tilted upwards. I'm always really happy when I see him.

Only then I saw that he's holding something in his hand. It was a pretty, small box.

"This is for you, angel." Giovanni said as he handed it to me
