*another week*

I just got cleared by a psychologists for work. And luckily hotch got me my job back.
It feels like the very first day again. Stressing about what clothes to wear.

I decided to wear my binder. A halter top with a loose button op over it. And some loose neat pants.

My long hair has been bothering me so I got it cut. With short hair I can still look feminine it I want I'm just more In-between most of the time.

"Y/n?" Rossi yells after I just got dressed.

I walk into the kitchen and see ny favourite breakfast.
I look surprised. "You did all this? Wow"  my favourite breakfast is not really an everyday thing.

We both enjoy the breakfast before leaving ."I really love the hair"
"You said that a million times" I say laughing.
"Penelope isn't going to do a big thing right?" Rossi stares at me. Ofc she is.

"Pls text her to break down the decorations. I do want her self made cookies" I say with a smile.

I'm nervous to be back. I don't want to hear strauss bullshit apologies again. And this is going to be the first cade working with Alex, I'm excited about that one though. 
I hope we go to a warm location. The weather here is meh atm.

we arrive at the bullpen. i see everyone waiting behind their desk. as i open the door they all look at me. seeying their faces light up, made me smile. spencer rushes to reach me first. He put his arms up to embrace me. Eventhough i've seen in a few days ago, it still felt so long ago since i felt his gentle hug. " i love your hair" he says as he lets go. i felt my cheeks warm up.  everytime i look at his face i just get this warm feeling inside. im not sure what it means. 

My thoughts get interupted as derek walks up to hug me aswell. "im glad your back". Everyone got their turn. "im excited for our first case together" i give alex a little bump. she laughs and agrees. "O i got you something" she says. i look at her suprised. "i- you didn't need to" i stumble over my words. "actually its from both me and spencer, and i know we didn't need to. but we wanted to" i look at spencer and see him blush as i say " thanks, for everything, i coudn't have gotten through it with my pretty boy genius" i mess up his hair a little and give him a kiss on his cheek. 

"Do i get a kiss to?" alex jokes. i give her a hug as i take the bag. "damn did you buy me a brick?" i say laughing. the bag was really heavy. i open it up and see multipule books. i take one out. "omg! this is from my favorite auther. wait how did you get this? didnt this just hit the market?"

i immediatley take interest and read the back of the book. " well we both got our connections" alex anwserd i hug them again. 

" and i got you a case" hotch said, the teams sighs. we walk to the confrence room where there is a boll of penelope's cookies. "yes! i wonderd when i got some" i immediatley put one in my mouth. Derek told me the team takes cases instead of investigating doyle. it infuriates me but atleast derek is trying to find him. and ill help. he killed emily, he doesnt get to walk around freely. penelope stands infront of the screen making me confused. 

"doesnt jj presents the cases?" i ask. "not anymore, since ive returend from a diffrent assigment im ssa jareau not communication illison anymore" i congratelate her on becoming an actual profiler. "so i present now" penelope says, i continue to eat my  cookie and listen to what she says. 

"Madison garmont and her husband Andy garmont where killed in their house 2 nights ago. Execution style. This has not been the first family annihilation. The coopers and the Andersons where murderd aswell" Penelope started off.

I look at the file. "They all live in the same neighbourhood?" I ask surprised.
Penelope nodds.
"Wait I think I reconize this case" Everyone looked at me.
"I had a case like this when I went undercover. The one I told you about jj. Me and a colleague of mine went undercover as a straight couple with her son. I think they called the unsub the neighbourhood killer." I went to explain.
