The weekend just passed. Spencer and  I just hung out a bit and I went to Alex to help her pack up. But as every Monday comes we get called in.
Spencer and I drove to work together. We slept at his apartment.

He called me over last might bc there was something with his mom. So I came to comfort him.

As we walked out the elevator i saw emily and jj walking side by side ofc.
Jj talks to Spencer but he just shuts her down. "Y/n?" Jj asked.
"Space remember " Is all I said.

"They told you the same thing?" I hear emily asking jj right after I walked passed them.
The rest of the team was walking in the conference room so we joined.

Penelope starts to present the case.
"You are jetting to Durant, oklahoma, because in last 3 days two women have been found dead after being sexually tortured, and then blinded with a sulfuric acid solution." Penelope puts a picture of rhe first victim on screen. "Abby elcott us our first victim. 19 year old are student. She was headed to campus for an advanced drawing class. She'd been missing for 2 days." Then pictures if the second victim appear.

Both blond. "Same goes for our second victim. Beth westerly, 17. She had just finished her coffee shop shift and was in her way to a bar method class."

"Both low-risk victims" emily speaks first. It feels weird to see her here. She's been back what 4 days? And immediately back on the job. The image of her impaled still flahes before everytime I see her.
"And physically similar" Derek stated.

"How close are the two abduction sites?" Rossi asked
"5 miles apart at  bus stops. Abby's cell was found near one, Beth' scarf near the other.

"Where are the dump sites?" Spencer asked.
"One in an alley, the other in a field" Penelope went on.

I looked at the pictures of their bodies. It made my stomach sick.
"So he stapled their eyes open, then he blinded them." Jj stated.
"It's about power and control. Maybe he didn't want them to watch while he hurt them?" Derek asked.

"It's possible he doesn't want to hurt them but feels the need to" I spoke.
"Or it could be about shame" Spencer started to talk.

"Perhaps the unsub is disfigured himself." He went on. I got what he was saying.

"Blinding his victims leaves them helpless, lost, totally dependent." I added.
"It may be a manifestation of how he sees himself in this world."
Spencer went on.

I smile at him. He's so cute with his short hair and I love it when we work together like this.
"It is a form of enucleation just without the scalpel." Emily wayed in.
Her hair is a little different aswell. No bangs. I liked those bangs.
"Is face is the last they see before darkness" Rossi spoke.

" garcia come up with a list of jobs. That would give the unsub access to sulfuric acid. The rest of us, wheels upin 30 minutes." Hotch spoke everyone walked out .

"Y/l/n" but he stopped me.
"Yes sir" I say obedient.
"I understand you are still mad. But I hope i can expect professional behaviour?" He asked.
"Yes sir? Was that all" I say with a fake smile. I'm not only mad at Emily and jj but at hotch aswell.
"And y/n if you ever want to talk-" I walk out after he said that. I don't care to talk to him. Not rn not soon.

Within time everyone was in the plane. Once we had taken off and were flying straight, we discussed the case further. Emily found that Beth was wearing different clothes 3 hours before she was missing then when her body was found.

She sees stuff like that. Stuff that I would miss.
Spencer gave another fact and penelope found a similar case from 2 months ago.
I suggest that our unsub is probably using surgets.
"Dave you and I will talk to the parents. Morgan, prentiss and y/l/n go to the disposal sites. Jj, you and read to the abduction sites" hotch spoke.

Emily smiled at me but I dismissed it the same way spencer did with jj. Atleast I have Derek with me to break out tension.

When we got to the disposal site I took of my vest. I could feel emily looking at ny arm. Looking at that one scar.
"Stop it" I whisperd. I didn't want detective Bonner who was walking us to the site to hear me.

We were walking to a homeless quarter where beth was found. Derek pointed out there was drug food everywhere. Again I could feel emily looking at me.
"Ik ben niet gemaakt van glass dus stop met naar mij te kijken alsof ik elke seconden kan breken." I said in dutch.

(*I'm not made of glass so stop looking at me like I could break any second.)

The detective gave me a confused look. "Sorry" I tell her.

"Abby was found in a shantytown aswell" the detective informed us

Emily guessed that the unsub might be homeless. But he definitely has a car to get around.
"That's why he choices theses sites bc he would blend in" I spoke.
"Nice babe" emily spoke.

"Ooo are you too together?" The detective asked.
"No our relationship died 7 months ago" I said walking away.

After about 2 hours another body was dumbed. Jj, spence , hotch and rossi went to check it out. I decided to go on a walk alone. Get my anger out. Something about her calling me babe...I. it felt weirdly good to hea4 that again. But It also made me so mad.

After awhile it was time to give a profile.
After the profile I saw jj talking to Spencer.
Things were getting hot.
"What if I started taking dilaud again? Would you let me? Just like you let y/n?!" Spencer said angry. I stood still.

"You didn't "
"Yeah, but i thought about it"
"Spence I'm sorry"
"It's too late alright" he said walking away.
I felt tears in my eyes. I followed behind him. Making sure he was alright. And trying to collect myself.

I thought the same thing he did. Hotch and jj knew. And they let me relapse. Those 4-5  months waisted to drugs. And remission they could have told me.

"Spence" I yelled behind him outside the pd.
