Jay and Erin's baby journey

Erin ~ Appendicitis

It was one morning, and Erin woke up with pain in her right side, she thought it was just indigestion, so she ignored it. 

Jay woke up, and saw Erin rubbing the side of her stomach. 

"Baby, you alright?" Jay whispered. 

Erin looked towards Jay, and nodded. 

"Yeah, just in pain." Erin smiled softly. 

Jay nodded, and got out of bed. 

Kimmy woke up, and cuddled into her mama's side. 

"Oh, well hi baby girl." Erin giggled. 

"Hi mama." Kimmy babbled. 

Jay knew his wife was sick, but she wouldn't let it show. 

"Wanna go make pancakes munchkin?" Jay asked. 

"Yay." Kimmy giggled, as she jumped in Jay's arms. 

"Let's go then, babe want any?" Jay smiled. 

"Umm, I'm good." Erin smiled back. 

Jay nodded, and left the bedroom, shutting the door softly. 

Erin lied down, and pulled the duvets close to her chest, and fell asleep. 

Jay got the ingredients out of the cupboards, and Fridge. 

"Alright bubs, wanna help daddy pour the flour in?" Jay asked, as he opened the packet. 

"Yes!!" Kimmy squealed.

Jay laughed, and helped Kimmy pour the flour into the bowl. 

"Good Job, now the eggs." Jay smiled, as he opened the eggs, and took two out. 

Kimmy helped Jay crack the eggs, and flip the pancakes.

"All done baby girl." Jay kissed Kimmy's forehead. 

"Yippee." Kimmy giggled, as she ate her pancakes. 

They settled on the couch, and Jay heard puking sounds.

"Give me a minute sweetie." Jay ruffled Kimmy's hair, and stood up. 

"Okie da da." Kimmy babbled, and continued watching bluey. 

Erin's side started to worsen, she was in so much pain.

Jay opened the door, and saw his wife crying, and holding her side. 

"Oh Erin." Jay sighed, as he sat down.

Jay pulled Erin gently into his chest, and started rubbing her back. 

"It's okay baby, your okay, is your right side hurting you bubba?" Jay pouted. 

Erin nodded, and fell forward to puke again. 

Jay knew he needed to get her to hospital straightaway, so he called Will. 

"Let's get you off the floor." Jay smiled, as he carried Erin, but Erin passed out. 

"ERIN!!" Jay yelled. 

Jay lied Erin on the bed, and rang Will. 

"Will, Man I need your help." Jay panicked, as he shook Erin gently. 

"She's passed out, she puked a couple times, I think it's her appendix." Jay rambled.

"Alright, Yep." Jay Hanged up, and packed a bag. 

Kimmy was getting worried, her daddy has been longer then a minute, so she toddled upstairs. 

Kimmy opened the bedroom door, and saw her daddy trying to wake Erin up. 

"MAMA!!" Kimmy shouted, as she ran over. 

Jay looked at Kimmy, with tears in his eyes. 

"M-Mama's gonna be okay, let's get her to hospital." Jay sniffled. 

Kimmy nodded, and grabbed the bag from Jay. 

"Thanks baby girl." Jay smiled. 

Kimmy said her reply, and they went downstairs. 

They made it to the car, and Jay was begging Erin to stay with him. 

"Stay with me baby, just stay with me." Jay turned his blues on, and sped as fast as he could. 

They got to med, and saw Will waiting with a gurney. 

"UNCLE WILL, IT MAMA!!" Kimmy screamed. 

Will raced the gurney over, and Jay placed Erin on the bed. 

"NAT!!" Will called over. 

Nat came over, and saw Erin passed out. 

"Alright, Monique, Doris with me, let's get her to the or." Nat ordered. 

They rushed off, and Jay picked Kimmy up. 

Kimmy started crying, she wanted her mama. 

"Aww, Mama's gonna be all okay." Jay soothed. 

The unit walked in, and Kim went straight to Jay.

"How is she?" Kim asked, as she sat down. 

Jay shook his head, and started sobbing.. 

"Oh baby bro." Kim took Jay in her arms, letting him sob. 

"It's okay sweetie, Erin's in good hands." Kim brushed Jay's hair back, while he clung on to her. 

The unit watched, and Kimmy did as well.

They all thought of Trudy as the mom, and Kim the big sister. 

"Kim's like the big sister of us all, mostly Jay." Adam pointed out. 

They all agreed, it was true. 

After awhile, Dr Rhodes walked out with News. 

They all got up, and walked to Dr Rhodes. 

"Hi Everyone, Erin's doing absolutely fine, we took the appendix out, Erin is a bit drowsy, but she's all good, you can go see her." Rhodes smiled. 

They all sighed in relief, and went to see Erin. 

"Hi Baby girl." Erin whispered. 

"Mama." Kimmy hugged her mama's good side. 

They all said their goodbyes, and get well soon, they then went home. 

Kimmy got taken home by Kim and Adam, while Jay and Erin stayed. 

Jay sat on the bed, with Erin cuddled into his chest. 

"I was so scared." Erin mumbled. 

"Me too, but your okay." Jay smiled, as he kissed her head. 

Erin fell asleep, so did Jay, glad Erin was alright.
