It was the day of Mouse's funeral, and the whole unit was at the church.

"I'm so sorry for you loss Jay." Adam gave Jay a bro hug.

Jay nodded, and sniffled.

"I-I'll be right back." Jay walked over to Angela and Griffin.

Angela and Griffin looked at the church, then saw Jay.

"Uncle Jay!!" Griffin spoke.

Jay came up to them, and spoke.

"Hi you two." Jay smiled.

"H-Hi Jay." Angela sniffled.

Jay wrapped Angela and Griffin in a hug.

"It's okay, It's all gonna be okay." Jay kissed the top of Angela's head, and Griffin's.

"Alright, let's go in." Jay whispered.

Angela and Griffin nodded, and followed Jay inside, with the rest of the unit.

Everyone found their allocated benches, and looked at the priest.

"We are all here today, to mourn the sad loss of Gregory Thomas Gerwitz, he was a brother, best friend, dad, husband." The priest began.

Jay managed to keep his tears at bay, and squeezed Erin's hand.

Erin had tears in her eyes, as she continued watching the front.

"Can we please welcome, Jay Halstead, with a poem." The priest announced.

Jay got up, and slowly walked up to the front.

"You got this baby." Erin whispered.

Jay opened his letter, and spoke.

"G-Gregory Gerwitz, was my best friend, we've never meet dead ends, h-he always made me laugh, when I was down, even though we were tackled to the ground, he always comforted me when I-I had bad days, we used to wake up to sunrays, we always protected each other, when we were on the road, we would always take each other's load, Gregory was my best friend, he's gone now, I'll always remember him, from here on out." Jay finished.

Everyone clapped softly, and Jay rushed out of the church.

"Kimmy, stay here okay!" Erin whispered.

Kimmy nodded, and sat close to Kim.

After a few minutes. Erin saw Jay puking in the trashcan.

"Oh Baby." Erin muttered.

Erin ran up to Jay, and comforted him.

"Sshh, I'm here babe." Erin stroked Jay's head.

Jay finished puking, and coughed.

"H-Have you eaten?" Erin asked.

"C-Couldn't stomach it." Jay coughed.

Erin could see how much weight Jay lost, and she was concerned.

"Jay, you look like you haven't eaten for a week." Erin explained.

"I-I'm not hungry." Jay looked down.

"Jay, were not playing it like this, I'm taking you to get a sandwich." Erin hooked her arm over Jay's shoulder.

"E-Erin..." Jay mumbled.

"Don't argue with me, you'll know I'll win." Erin whispered.

Jay sighed, and agreed.

"Thank you, let's get you some food." Erin sat Jay down on a bench.

Erin took a tuna sandwich from her bag, and an orange juice.

"Here, eat up, and drink up." Erin ordered.

Jay opened the sandwich packaging, and took a bite.

"Jay, I think you need to see a therapist." Erin sighed.

Jay looked at Erin, and spoke.

"W-Why? I-I'm fine?" Jay defended.

"Halstead, you are not fine, you've been losing weight, you haven't been concentrating at work, you didn't even eat pizza when Adam offered, your seeing a therapist." Voight made himself aware.

Jay looked at all his team, who had the same expression as Voight.

"I-I don't need a damn therapist!!" Jay sniffled.

Hank had a stern look on his face, and Erin looked at Jay.

"Baby, Hank's right, you need some help, you can explain what your feeling to a therapist, they can help you work stuff out, do it for Kimmy." Erin rubbed Jay's hand.

Jay reluctantly nodded, and continued eating.

"I'll book an appointment with Dr Charles." Hank offered.

Jay and Erin nodded, and smiled.

Kimmy came running out, and shouted for her daddy.

"DADDY!!" Kimmy screamed, as she came closer.

Jay opened his arms, and took Kimmy up in his arms.

"It's okay, I got you." Jay whispered.

Kimmy snuggled down into Jay's arms, and sighed.

After a few hours. The unit decided to go to Molly's and Jay was drunk.

"Alright, time to go home, babe." Erin decided.

"Noo, I'm having another shot!!" Jay moaned.

"Hermann, cut Jay's tab." Erin asked.

Hermann nodded, and cancelled all drinks which Jay wanted.

"W-Why'd you do that!!" Jay groaned.

"Cause, you've had a bit too many, and your drunk." Erin slowly brought Jay out of the booth.

"Aww!!" Jay pouted.

"Night Everyone!!" Erin whispered.

"Night lovebirds, don't worry, we'll look after Kimmy." Adam hollered back.

Erin nodded, and got Jay in the car.

After Awhile. Jay and Erin arrived home, and went to bed.

"Hank texted me, he booked your therapist appointment for tomorrow." Erin stroked Jay's eyebrows.

Jay nodded, and snuggled into Erin's chest.

"Time for sleepy-byes bubs." Erin rubbed her finger back and forth against Jay's nose.

Jay fell deep into sleep, and snored softly.
