Chapter 62

Her eyes met mine, but she quickly looked away. It kind of hurt, but I knew it was my fault. I took a deep breath, and I just stood there for a moment, still looking in Kyler's direction. Maya-maya lang ay naramdaman kong may mga brasong pumulupot sa bewang ko.

"Adie, stop! May mga bata oh. Nakakahiya." Pagsaway ko rito pinaghahalikan na kasi nito yung leeg ko, and to be honest, naiilang ako it's too much PDA. Binitiwan naman ako nito bago pa man ako magkaroon ng pagkakataong humarap kay Adie nahuli ko si Kyler na matiim na naka tingin sa direksyon namin pansin kong namumula na rin ito. The way she looks at us, we are doomed. I can also feel that she's jealous because I can see it through her eyes. Kulang na lang mag ala lastikman sya para umabot yung kamao nya sa lalaking katabi ko.

"Let's go." I said at kinuha na yung bag ko. I brushed off the feeling of my nervousness with the fact that I could still feel her eyes as we moved away from their direction. Sumunod naman sa'kin si Adie at nang makarating na kami sa parking lot ay agad itong pumasok sa kotse. Wow! Napaka gentleman talaga ano? Hindi manlang ako pinagbuksan ng pinto. I sigh as I roll my eyes. Bago ako pumasok ng kotse ni Adie. Iniwan ko na lang muna yung kotse ko dito sa school.

6:40 p.m., nakarating kami sa isang magarang mansyon. Oh, before I forget, we're here at Max's house, my student. She invited me to her parents 35ᵗʰ Wedding anniversary, and Adie was invited ng mag-asawa mismo because of the business, of course.

"Ms. Fetherston and Mr. Lopez, thank you for coming, po." Agad na bungad sa'min ni Max nang makita nya kami.

"Hi, Max, good evening. Thank you for the invitation." Nakangiting saad ko rito at nakipag beso. Maya-maya pa ay may lumapit sa aming mag-asawa, sila ata ang mga magulang ni Max, and it's pretty obvious tho. Nakuha ni Max ang magandang imahe nya sa mga magulang nya.

"Good evening for the both of you; thank you for coming." Max's dad said.

"So... she's your date, huh?" Nakangiting turan ng mommy ni Max kay Adie tsaka tumingin sa akin. 

"Happy Anniversary, po." I said.

"Thank you, Ija. Please enjoy the party." I nodded and smiled at them. 

"Naku nag-abala pa kayo." Max's mom reacted when Adie handed her our gift for them. 

"Thank you." She said.

“Girls, maiwan muna namin kayo dyan ha?" Paalam ng daddy ni Max sa amin and motion Adie to follow him.

"Sure, dad." Sagot naman ni Max. Adie looks at me, then pecks my lips and disappears. Max, her mom, and I talk a little bit, and then suddenly Max excuses herself. 

"Uhm, excuse po. Mom nandito na po yung mga friends ko." Bigla itong tumayo at sinundan ko naman sya ng tingin hanggang sa magtama ang mata namin ng isa sa mga kaibigan nya. Sino pa nga ba? No other than my gorgeous Kyler. Gosh! Kala ko iiwas ito ng tingin, pero hindi nya ginawa. Her eyes never left mine. Hanggang makalapit na sila sa table namin. And for some reason, I suddenly felt nervous, and my heart was pounding so fast. I want to look away, but who am I kidding? She is too beautiful not to look at. Patuloy lang kami sa aming staring contest hanggang sa tumikhim si Max. 

"Mom, meet my friends, Kali, Love, and Z, at Sav. Guys, this is my mom." They all said ‘Happy Anniversary’, and they handed their gifts to Max's mom, and Mrs. De Leon said thank you to them. 

"Nice to meet you all. Please enjoy the party girls." She excused herself at naiwan ako kasama nila Kyler. Speaking of, I caught her checking me out while liking her lips. Agad akong napakagat ng aking labi sa ginagawa nya. Even for me, I can't help but look at her entire outfit. She's so damn sexy in her dress. She looks ravishing to me. I can see her smooth legs.
