Lilith has lost her humanity and has given into the darkness, becoming something that cannot be controlled. She has a growing need for revenge, and will do whatever it takes to make sure Athena suffers just as much, or possibly even more than she did. Her family try and get her to see sense and step away from the darkness, but it soon becomes evident that there may be nothing they can do to save her.
Sure, she had her memories back but none of them brought her back to the light. She stayed in the darkness, embracing her new found Dark One title. The people of Storybrooke begin to fear her and the heroes start to lose hope they'll ever be able to save her from the darkness. A battle ensues between Lilith and Athena, leaving death and destruction in it's wake.
