CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE "Return to Storybrooke"
STORYBROOKE PRESENT DAY
As the Jolly Roger arrived at Storybrooke's docks, a crowd had gathered and welcomed everyone home. Everyone except Regina, Lily, Adrienne, Killian and Fallon. Lorelai and Evander had managed to make friends with a few of the townspeople before leaving for Neverland, so they were both happy to see them again.
The sights of Storybrooke were all brand new to Adrienne, so she stayed on the ship for a few minutes and allowed herself to take it all in. She had never seen anything like it before. Not a place she ever imaged her mother finding happiness in, but here they were.
Lily noticed how nervous her daughter appeared to be and walked over to her. "Are you okay?" She asked.
"I'm fine. It's just a lot to take in." Adrienne said.
"I understand that it's perhaps a little overwhelming at first, but if you're still anything like your brother and sister, you'll find a way to fit in. You might even learn to like it here." Lily said.
"Have you?" Adrienne questioned.
"I haven't quite decided on that yet." Lily answered.

After the crowd had disappeared to celebrate the heroes return in Granny's Diner, Lily, Adrienne and Killian had stayed behind. Pan's shadow was still trapped in the ship's sails causing them to remain black in colour.
"I don't understand how Rumpelstiltskin is okay about leaving Pan's shadow there." Lily said.
"It's trapped, like it was in the candle." Adrienne said. "The only person that can free it is trapped in that little box Rumpelstiltskin has."
"I can't believe we've resorted to trusting him." Killian said.
"It's not like we have a choice." Lily said.
Seemingly appearing from the shadows cast by one of the near by buildings, Athena smiled as she looked over at the trio standing by the ship. She made sure the coast was clear before she began to walk over to them.
Lily and Adrienne could both sense her presence when she was still quite a few feet away. They turned their heads around to face her, both of them frowning at the unfamiliar face.
