CHAPTER THREE
"Goodnight, bug"

To get some space between herself and everyone else, Regina had decided to go for a walk on the docks in an attempt to clear her head. She sighed as she stuffed her hands into her pockets to keep them warm, even though she had gloves on. She sighed again, though this time it was quiet and more on the annoyed side. She heard a familiar and annoying voice.

"Beautiful day, isn't it, Regina?"

With an annoyed expression plastered on her face, Regina turned around to see Archie Hopper approaching her with his dog, Pongo. "Why would I answer you, bug boy?" She asked.

"I'm just trying to make friendly conversation, Regina." Archie said.

"That you'll repeat to anyone who will listen to you." Regina snapped. "I know you told Miss Swan about our sessions. You cannot help me if you're just going to betray my trust like this."

"I only told her that you came to see me." Archie admitted. "I didn't tell her anything specific. Miss Swan just needed reassurance that you were committed to changing."

"I came to you in confidence, Hopper." Regina said. "How am I supposed to prove I've changed when you keep reminding people of my past?"

"I-I've never broken the doctor-patient confidentiality." Archie said.

"Doctor?! Need I remind you that you got your PhD from a curse?!" Regina snapped.

"What's going on over here?"

Both Regina and Archie looked up to see Lily standing only a few feet away from them. Lily smiled and it caused Archie to feel a little uneasy, so he slightly tightened the grip on Pongo's leash and walked away.

"Who are you?" Regina asked, looking at the unfamiliar witch.

Lily questioned, "you don't know?"

"You look familiar." Regina said, looking the stranger up and down.

"My name is Lilith, your majesty." Lily said. "And I'd appreciate it if you didn't look me up and down like I'm a piece of meat."

Regina met Lily's eye once again and smirked slightly. "You're the pirate's sister, aren't you?" She asked.

"What gave it away?" Lily questioned.

"That slightly sarcastic attitude and those eyes. They're just like his" Regina said. "Pretty shade of blue." She hummed.

"You'd be wise to stay on my good side, your majesty." Lily said.

"And you'd be wise to stay on mine." Regina said, taking a step closer to the witch in front of her. "This is my town and I won't hesitate to eliminate any threats." No matter how beautiful they may appear to be.
