CHAPTER SIXTEEN "The Cure"
Evander walked around town like a man on a mission. He had spotted Fallon around town here and there, but nobody knew who she was, where she came from or why she was there. And since everyone else busy, he took it upon himself to find out.
"Alright, you little ninja, who are you?" Evander demanded to know as he sat opposite Fallon outside Granny's Diner. Fallon looked up, completely bewildered as to what was going on.
Fallon questioned, "Excuse me?"
"I've seen you sneaking around town. Who are you? Where did you come from? And...have you seen my uncle by chance?" Evander questioned.
"Fallon. None of your business. No. I don't even know who you or your uncle are." She answered.
"Okay, Fallon. I'm Evander. Now, tell me, what are doing here?" He asked.
"If you must know, I'm here on a mission on behalf of my mother. She's trapped and needs help to escape her prison. I need to bring her the key to her escape." Fallon smiled.
Emma and Neal arrived with Henry and were conversating before Emma turned and walked away; and the boys went inside. "Henry." Fallon said quietly.
"You know the kid?" questioned Evander.
"I saw him in the woods." Fallon answered before she stood up. "It was nice meeting you, Evander." She smiled before she walked away.
Evander went to stand up but a pretty brunette sat across the table from him. She was all smiles, appearing to be over the moon that she ran into the archer. "Hi, Evan!" She beamed.
"Oh, shit." He muttered.
The woman's name was Renai. She and Evander had dated for a while in the land without magic; and at one point, they were even engaged. But that relationship quickly went sour after Evander had learned of Renai's betrayal.
"How did you find me?" Evander asked.
"I tracked your cell phone." Renai admitted.
"Ah, so you're still as crazy as the last time saw you. Good to know." Evander smiled sarcastically. "I meant it when I said we were over, Renai. I don't want anything to do with you, so I suggest you turn around and go home."
And with that Evander stood up and walked away.

Out in the woods, Mary Margaret was shooting arrows into a tree. She had avoided all of David's attempts to spend time together; and so, she escaped to the woods to clear her head...or like she was doing, thinking about what Lily had said to her.
