Caitlyn was missing for 3 months. She was taken on her way home from work, while Vi stayed back to finish a few things up. Vi went ballistic trying to find the sheriff and her Girlfriend no matter what it took. She hardly took care of herself during the search ,traveling down to Zaun, all over Piltover, running herself ragged but wouldn't stop for anything.

Caitlyns parents were just as worried as Vi, but knew if anyone could get her back it was Vi. Though they tried to get her to take frequent breaks, she would only pause for a few minutes before getting back into her search. Her and Caitlyns apartment was filled to the brim with papers and leads, information, and suspects. Vi went after every single one getting more and more desperate and ragged when she returned.

Finally, thouggh, it seems like her search would be ending as she grabbed the note on the apartments door and ripped it open. 'If you want to find your love, come down to Zaun, Without your gauntlets. And come alone. Fail to do that and we will terminate your girlfriend.' On the back of the note was a 'map' of where they would be. Vi gripped the note so hard it crumbled before dropping it and racing out of the apartment building and towards the bridge.

In hindsight she should've told someone were she was going, so if she didn't return someone could go find either of them, but Vi wasn't thinking straight, she just wanted her girlfriend back. Racing across the bridge, Vi was trying to not think about what state Caitlyn would be in when she finally saw her. Parkouring doen Into the lanes felt like it took forever. And she shoved people out of the way on the streets to get to the lower parts, where all the factories where. She entered the right one and immediately saw Caitlyn and a lone guy standing next fo her smirking.

Vi glanced around, knowing the guy wouldn't be alone if he's here, before turning to Caitlyn. The side of her head was bleeding sluggishly, her neck had bad bruising, her mouth and nose was bleeding as well, meaning she had fought back before coming here. She was knocked out, probably to stop her from screaming or talking, and her arms were tied to tightly behind her back. Vi growled softly as she ran to Caitlyns side, examining the damage and bringing their foreheads together as she tried to control her breathing.

"She was calling your name when we were playing. Such a sweet little thing." The guy smirked wider as he watche Vi start to shake with rage. He knew this could be bad, but he had shimmer monsters waiting in the shadows, and the brawler infront of him looked skinner than she usually does. Vi launched herself at him and punched him in the face, knocking him back. Before he could recover, a kick to his chest had him backing up more and gasping for breath. But he smirked and snapped his fingers and the shimmer monsters came out from all sides.

Vi gasped and moved closer to Caitlyn to protect her as she fought the shimmers, and coming out victorious, though not without bruising and broken bones. She walked to the guy and grabbed a fist full of his shirt snarling in his face. "Your gunna regret doing that asshole." Before punching him square in the face and knocking him out. She dropped him before turning to Caitlyn and gently undoing her bounds and hugging her girlfriend tightly. Before she picked up Caitlyn, she tied the guy tightly to a pole, and removed all weapons from him, snarling softly. She would call someone to come get him when she's back up. Right now her focus is Caitlyn.

Picking her up gently Vi started running to topside, ignoring her own aches, knowing Caitlyn needed medical help soon for concussion, any broken bones, and the bruising. It took no time at all and as Vi bursted through the hospital doors, several were already wheeling out a sketcher for Caitlyn. Vi gently rested her onto it and watched as they wheeled her back, before collapsing into the plastic chair with a deep breath. She remebered to call someone about the guy, then called Caitlyns parents, knowing they'd want to see their daughter, and within the hour Caitlyns mom appeared.

She spotted Vi, and her ragged appearance and quickly came to her side. They had a rocky start, but the two both bonded over protecting Caitlyn and soon became good friends, though they both had their moments. "Vi honey.. did you eat anything today? You look absolutely dead..." Vi shrugged and looked at her hands, ready for the lecture to follow. "I was focused on Caitlyn... I couldn't eat anything.. but I found her. She's getting treated right now..." "i know Vi, you told us, Tobias is back there making sure she will be alright.. but Vi did you get seen? You do need to eat honey it's not good for someone your age and size to just stop eating.."

Cassandra's worried fretting had Vi smiling slightly,  though not for long. "Cassandra I promise I'll be okay.. I'll eat when I make sure she will be fine.. I can't.. I can't eat without making sure she will be okay.. she's the best thing that's ever happened to me..." Vi mumbled softly trying to fight back tears so Cassandra wouldn't see them but failed, rubbing hard at her eyes to stop. Cassandra smiled sadly at the woman sitting infront of her right now before crouching down and gently hugging Vi, mumbling softly as Vis cries slowly stopped. "Vi you know as well as I do Caitlyn is a strong woman, and you know she would kick your butt if she saw you right now.

Go Home, go eat something and get some rest okay? I will call you when she is ready to have visitors okay?" Vi just nodded and hugged the older woman, surprising her. "O-okay.. please let me know exactly when she's out okay..?" Cassandra nodde with a small smile and watched the lumbering form of the brawler leave the hospital doors. Cassandra hoped Vi could find at least a litle sleep, the poor child was looking like she was a zombie, eyebags dropping so low, skin on bones, kinda like how Caitlyn said she looked when Vi was in prison. after learning Vi lost her mother at a young age, and the two got closer, Cassandra took it upon herself to make sure both girls took care of themselves. Settling down in the vacant seat Vi had just left, seeing the slight spots of blood she hoped wasn't from Vi, and starting the long wait to see her daughter.
