It was the middle of the night when Caitlyn woke up. Caitlyn hardly wakes up this early but she had passed out after a long day. Turning to her side she saw the view of Vi, who was snoring softly beside her a arm over her face while on her side. Caitlyn smiled gently at the scene. seeing Vi fully relaxed like this is rare, especially after StillWater.
Sitting up and kissing Vi's head softly, Caitlyn got up from their bed and padded out of their room and towards their kitchen. The hallway was filled with pictures of her and Vi on missions, Caitlyns sheriff certificate, pictures of Vi and Jinx once they had finally reconnected, and Caitlyns family photos.
Reaching the kitchen she opened the cabinet and filled it up with water. Suddenly feeling watched she turned around to come face to face with Jinx. Startled Caitlyn squeezed the glass so hard it broke before sighing softly. "God we need to get you a bell, your way to quiet."
Rushed footsteps came from their room as Vi, disheveled and messy, raced from the noise. "Wha?! What happened are you two alright?" Caitlyn just chuckled softly. "It's okay Vi, your sister scared the life out of me but we are okay." "Sorry Cait" jinx shrugged. "It's alright but we need to get you a bell or something, or you need to start telling us if your in the same room kid."
They cleaned up the mess then sent Jinx back to bed. Caitlyn eventually did get some water then laying back on their bed laughing softly as Vi immediately snuggled into her falling asleep quickly. Caitlyn followed shortly after a small smile still on her lips.
