Just a Nightmare (violyn)

Vi flopped on her bed groaning softly. She just got to her apartment and was exsauted. The past few weeks she hadn't gotten much sleep since she kept getting nightmares. Some of them was when Vander, Mylo, Clagger died, some where of when her parents died, and others where of Powder and Caitlyn died.

She changed into a tank-top and shorts before laying on her bed hoping for a nightmare free night for once. As she slowly fell to sleep her mind had other ideas.

<Nightmare>
She was back at the warehouse. She looked around confused then turned and sees Powder beside Silco. She calls out to her but she just smirks and trian her little bomb thing setting it off. She was blown back along side Clagger and Mylo seeing them get trapped but this time she did as well she glanced over to see Mylo get stabbed as Clagger got crushe by a beam. She looks up to see a beam coming at her and actually feels the impact crying out. The last she sees is Powders Smirk before she passes out

At that she yelled out launching herself up looking around frantically still stuck in a haze of her dream. She curls up hiding her face feeling the dull ache on her head and side from her dream, as her tears start. She covers her head digging her nails in her hair trying to calm down but seeming to instead start a panic attack.

Reaching blindly she grabs her phone and opens it with shaky hands. She find Caitlyn's contacts and presses call with shaky hands and uneven breathes. She whimpers softly then rehides her face as Caitlyns voice comes through. "Vi? It's 2 in the morning? What's wrong?" Trying to answer the only thing that came out was a soft whimper and sniffles. "Oh Vi.. you need to breathe. In and out follow my breathes okay..?

As Caitlyn follows her breathes she starts slowly calming down. As she did she started crying softly. "Vi? What happened? Do you need me to come over?" "Y-yes.. pleas cup-cupcake..." a soft sigh came over the phone and that made Vi give a shaky smile. "I'm on my way Vi just keep yourself calm okay? Stay on the call." The sounds of Caitlyn getting dressed and walking out of her own apartment calmed vi down slightly more but her mind wouldn't let her forget.

soon the pressure of a beam was on her yet again and she starts breathing faster and whimpering. Caitlyn must've heard despite her best efforts to keep it quiet. "Vi? Vi! No no your going to pass out breathe with me in and out. I'm almost there."

True to her word vi heared I've rather soundpf her unravel breathing the front door unlock. Vi had given Caitlyn the spare for emergencies so when Caitlyn ran in she immediately came over and sat next to Vi putting a gentle hand on Vi's back. "Breathe in and out gently. Your okay."

Vi did as she said calming down and although her tears didn't stop her shaky breathing evened out. She laid her head on Caitlyns shoulder crying softly. Caitlyn let her, rubbing her back gently to help her calm. Once only sniffles could be heard Vi gently pulled back.

"What happened to make you panic vi?" "Nightmare..." it was spoken so quiet that Caitlyn almost missed it. When it registered she pulled vi in for a tight but gently hug. "It's okay now, your safe.."

Vi slowly fell asleep in the embrace of her friend. She knows that whenever she needed her Caitlyn would be right there.
