It was the Christmas gala in the Kiramanns estate. Jayce was standing to the side watching everyone while he drank his water. His partner had yet to arrive and Jayce was getting nervous.
Soon enough the doors opened to allow in Viktor. He was in a nice suit and tie and he fixed his hair slightly. He looked very nice today. Jayce walked up to him and gently put his hand on Vicktor shoulder. "You okay?" "My leg was bothering me but I'm fine now." "If you say so."
The music changed to a slow dance and Jayce bowed gently. "May I have this dance?" Vicktor chuckled but nodded. "You may." With that Jayce gently took his hands and lead him to the dance floor where they started waltzing (I dunno only partner dance I know!). Jayce pets stepping on Vicktor's feet so he moved alittle further backwards. "How was your noght so far?" "Uneventful. I had a couple drinks talked to the Enforcers. I was waiting for you to arrive."
"Why?" "Because your my partner. I wanted to make sure your okay. And the fact you have a lame leg makes it to where we gotta protect you the most. But the big reason is because you make the night more fun."
Vicktor was stunned at that but smiled. "You make the night more fun as well Jayce. The two leaned in and kissed gently pulling away after a second. The rest of the night was filled with talking, dancing, and kissing.
