She knew Vander took in her and her sister out of pity. When she had led her little sister to the bridge, wanting to find her family, and both flinching badly at the extra sounds of gunshots, or a glimpse of enforcers. When Vander spotted the two kids he had been standing there, looking over the bloodbath that happened when he lead the undercut to war.

He recognized the red short hair of Vi more than the little blue haired girl beside her, having already trained Vi a few times in the art of fighting. He saw the question clear in her eyes, and knew what she was asking so he inclined his head towards where their parents laid, following behind him in the hope to make the Undercity safer for their kids. But instead getting killed by enforcers.

He turned his head and shut his eyes tightly, already tears prickling his eyes as he heard VI's heartbreaking screams, hearing her hit the ground hard, broken sobs coming off her shaking form, he turned in time to see the littlest curl her head into her sisters side, tears falling but the grip tight on her sisters tattered shirt. When VI's cries slowly dwindled, he walked over and scooped up the two, letting them both bury their heads into his shoulder as he walked towards the Undercity.

When he walked through the doors of The Last Drop he headed downstairs to a little apartment room, where a bunk bed laid. He gently laid the youngest down at the bottom, making sure she was tucked in and safe, before putting Vi down on the top. His moves were quiet, soft so he didn't wake either kid, which proved ineffective as Vi opened her eyes to look at him. He could see the pure hate and sadness in her eyes and sighed.

He finished tucking her in and was about to wish her a good night when her broken voice broke the silence. "Teach me to fight. The way you do. Piltover will pay for what they took." Vander sighed and shook his head. "You remember what I told you first Vi. Never fight for revenge nor angry. It cloud-" "it clouds the mind and makes your movements sloppy.." Vi recited, having already heard the saying many times.

"I'm serious though Vander. Teach me to fight more than simple blocks." Vi said seriously, eyeing Vander full on.  He just nodded. "First thing tomorrow then Vi. I'll see you in the morning." When Vi nodded and settled back into bed, he retreated, pretending not to hear the soft cries that broke the silence as he closed the door, knowing the oldest hated showing emotions.

He watched in horror as Vi donned his metal gauntlets and walked out of the small room, determined to fight the many men Silco has at his Disposal. He urged mull to hurry, unable to turn his gaze away from Vi as she fought the first guy, only smirking in pride when Vi knocked him flat on his back. The same going for the second and third he smiles glad that Vi took all his lessons to heart.

His heart clenched when the shimmer monster grabbed Vi by the throat without a second thought. Holding her suspended for what seemed like forever, he suddenly threw her away, thumping and landing a few feet away. He watched worried as Vi crawled to the door and quickly pushed it shut, locking it and leaning against the door, dispute her wounds wanting her to rest.

When Vi challenged sevkia in The Last Drop, she didn't expect to get her ass handed to her. She knew that she was hot-headed when she fought. It was always something Vandsr couldn't get her to drop. So when Vi fell to the ground after a good uppercut to the face she felt like she could no longer move. But when she heard gander she couldn't help but smile slightly. With a soft groan she pushed herself up, coming face to face to Vander, who smirked at her and titled his head to sevika, while whispering, "that's my girl."

Vi turned and spat out a tooth with blood and pulled up both hands, one still covered by a gauntlet. Sevika was pissed, and that made it easier to predict where she was gunna aim for and before long, Vi landed the last blow. Pulling herself up to her feet she panted softly before falling to her knees, bearly lifting her hands to catch herself before she whacked her head against the floor, and before she passed out Vanders words echoed in her ears.

"That's My Girl."
