Arcane: Leage of Legends oneshots

Very protective Vi

Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait I was thinking of what to do for this chapter, but finally got a idea haha!)

Vi cradled the body of the Sheriff close to her, only the warm ,however shallow,breaths relaxing vi. Her cupcake was still alive though severely injured and it was thanks to jinx that this happened. Picking up Caitlyn Vi runs straight to a hospital where she handed her beloved to the doctors.

(2 hours earlier)

"Cmon cupcake! It's so quiet over here!" "For the last time Vi no! We need to patrol the area." That shut up Vi for now but she would ask again at some point. Piltovers Finest where currently stationed on the outskirts of Piltover where Jinx was spotted not to long ago. Vi really just wanted to get out and chase after Jinx but her cupcake wouldn't allow her.

"Please cupcake! We would find her faster!" Vi spoke looking over at her Girlfriend. Caitlyn gave a soft groan then shook her head muttering something along the lines of, "why do I let you talk me into these things..." before finally looking up at Vi and sighing. "Fine. We can go look around, no going in buildings though vi. We don't know if Jinx had trapped them." "Yes Ma''am cupcake!" Vi hopped out pulling in her gauntlets and waiting for Caitlin to get out before starting walking. Unaware of the shadow following from above.

(1 hour earlier)

"No sign or nothing... where could she be!" Vi grunted getting annoyed that they didn't see any sign of Jinx. "She's around her somewhere Vi, we will find her." Caitlin responded from further ahead not bothering turning around. True to her word they soon hear Jinx's cackle bouncing off the walls of the buildings. "Well... if it isn't Fat Hands and Hat-Lady. Haven't seen you guys in a bit,,. NOT! Wow hat-Lady, you lost your touch if you didn't notice me following you two for the past hour!" "Jinx" Caitlin heard Vi mutter the word and get ready for a attack. Caitlyn knew what to do, as soon as Vi drew Jinx'a attention she would find a good place to snipe. It wasn't long before Vi shot herself towards Jinx and the two former sisters began a battle.

(30 minutes earlier)
The fight had been going on for awhile and Caitlin could tell Vi was getting tired. Her movements were slowing down and her reaction time was slow as well, however her punches weren't affected by her tiredness. Jinx was slowing down as well it looked and so Caitlin decided to get higher up to shoot her special net bullet to finally pin the elusive Loose Cannon. Spotting a building close to the fight she ran for it forgetting her warning to Vi not a hour before the fight as she ran up the steps to find a good vantage point. She could hear the grunts and yells of the fight from in the rickety building and that gave her a boost of speed.

(10 minutes before)

As soon as she shot the bullet there was a agonised scream and then sounds of struggling as Jinx tried to  get free. The struggling noises soon stopped and she saw Vi talking to the Loose Cannon but being this high up couldn't hear what they were saying. She sighed taking a breather but it wasn't long until she heard Vis panicked screams for her to get out of the building before the building shook and a loud Boom came from below. Suddenly it was like she was floating when the ground below her crumbled and fell taking her along with it. Several large chucks hit her and knocking her out the last she heard was Vi's panicked yells and Jinx's laugh.

Vi was full on panicking now. As soon as The building started crumbling Vi was running towards it trying to get to Cautlyn before she was completely buried. Getting there in time to save her from getting fully buried but still badly enough to get hut Vi carried her to a safe spot. Cradling the limp from in her arms Vi gave a whimper then toughened up to give a nasty glare to Jinx,who knew at the time she messed up and ran away. Unable to chase her due to Caitlin condition she cradled the body of her sheriff and ran to the hospital in hopes the doctors will heal her.

It had been 3 hours since Caitlin had been taken into the Emergency Room. Vi paced the entire time worried. Hearing the footsteps of a doctor she lookced up. "How is she?" "She's stable but still out, you can see her now just be careful." Vi nodded unable to say anything as the doctor lead her to Cautlyns room. Opening the door the doctor explained Caitlyns wounds to her. "Broken arm, broken leg, fractured ribs, pretty nasty bump to the head and broke nose. What caused this deputy?" "Jinx had a remote and blew up the building she was on..." vi managed to choke out on the verge of tears. It was rare to see the Deputy so emotional so the doctor only nodded out of surprise then left the two alone.

That night Vi spent next to her cupcake awaiting the next day in hope Caitlin would wake up and be okay.
