Soooo with all three CaitVi stories, I'm moving all to AO3 however I can't keep up with this book in general, because there's already so many chapters and I keep adding 😭😭😭😭 please pray for meeee)
Cuddling in the bed with her girlfriend Vi still couldn't belive it. She was out of Stillwater, a really good job and a great girlfriend.
The one thing she struggles with is touch still. Caitlyn understands since while her stay in Stillwater she was hit continuously and from that every touch, unless it was announced, she would instinctively flinch back, or hit at the direction.
That in the past has caused Caitlyn, Jayce, Vicktor, even Caitlyns parents to get hits to the head, stomach, hand, whatever vi aims for. She immediately apologizes as soon as she realizes and although they all say it's okay and laugh it off, Vi still feels bad. It hadn't happened in awhile since everyone announced it but this specific night.
They where getting ready for bed, well Caitlyn was, vi was sitting at the window seat watching the lights and sounds of the city. Not realizing nor hearing Caitlyn coming up and saying she's touching her she felt a touch at her hand. Her mind immediately flashed to Stillwater and she instinctively lashed out punching Caitlyn in the stomach.
Caitlyn grunted and stumbled back trying to keep her balance and suck in air. Realizing what she did, VI's eyes widened in surprise and sorrow as she rushed over to Caitlyn. "Woah! I'm sorry cupcake! Ar-are you okay? I-I'm sorry!" Caitlyn just patted her arm gently still sucking in air for her lungs. Vi felt so bad.
As soon as Caitlyn could breath again she looked over at Vi. "Hey it's okay love! It was my fault, your okay, I promise." She lifted her head letting Vi see her hands before gently putting them on her cheeks gently, smiling sadly at the slight flinch before Vi relaxed and brought Caitlyn into a hug.
"Your fine love don't worry okay..? You don't have to apologize for anything."
