Night snuggles (caitvi)

Laughter could be heard throughout the small house, and little thumps of feet echoing down the halls. Caitlyn was working in the office but looked up in time for a little body to burst through the doorway giggling crazily. Caitlyn chuckled and reached down picking up her kid and rubbing their noses together, earning a giggle from the kid as she headed for the door. "Where is your momma honey?"

"Hey?! Where'd you go?!" The call echoed through the house and Caitlyn laughed heading down the hallway to see Vi standing confused in the living room. "Cait! I left the kid here to go grab something, they are go- oh..." she turned to speak to Caitlyn frantically moving her hands but finally caught sight of the little bundle in Caitlyns hands. "There you are little monster... went to find mommy huh?"

Vi came over and tickled the kids belly, earning a loud giggle before a small yawn. "Ah someone is ready for bedtime. Do you want momma or mommy to put you to bed?" Vi said smiling softly as the kid tugged on both thier shirts. "Both then haha" Caitlyn said leading the way to their room, vi turning off lights before following. When she reached the room she saw Caitlyn had already laid down in bed with the child and was softly reading them a story.

Vi smiled gently taking in the scene from the bedrooms doorway, committing it to memory. She never thought that she would get here while in prison or even down in the undercity. She had to fight just to breathe, and protecting her little sister that she never had time for dating, just the odd fling as she got older in prison. Her face dropped slightly at the thought of the prison, though Caitlyn has been working hard to erase the Endorcee brutality in all of the force, she still had bad memories of the prison and often had nightmares from it.

Caitlyn had finsihed reading the book and was tucking a sleeping child under the covers before glancing up and looking for vi, seeing Vi was watching from the doorway, though had a unreadable expression on her face. "Vi? Honey are you okay?" She whispered slowly getting off the bed so she wouldn't wake the baby and gently and carefully approaching Vi. Vi shook her head and looked over at Caitlyn, eyes slightly fogged up. "Huh? Oh hey cupcake, im okay let's get ready for bed." She brought Caitlyn into a tight hug, which was returned quickly before both got into pjs and laid down, Vi nuzzling into Caitlyns neck as she slowly fell asleep. "I love you cupcake..." vi whispered before sleep took them both.
