Drinking with the Father

Vi was surprised when Caitlyn had approached her saying that her parents wanted to have dinner with them, and get to know Vi more since she is dating their own daughter. Vi had hesitantly agreed, worried mainly about meeting the counselor. Since their first meet didn't leave the best impression, but she agreed regardless. Caitlyn was ecstatic and quickly told her parents that they would be there.

When the night came Vi was a nervous wreck. She had spent all day going through her clothes trying to find something clean enough to wear to the dinner. When Caitlyn walked through the door she almost laughs at how panicked Vi really is, though offers to help so she could calm down. "It's okay Vi, Don't overthink it okay?" "This is your parents Cait... Your mother is a counicler.. She will be expecting the best.." Caitlyn shook her head, bringing the redhead into a hug, and feeling her tense shoulders relax faintly as she hugged back. "Vi.. I promise you you will be okay in anything you wear.. it's a casual dinner. Just breathe okay?" She felt Vi nod before stepping back slightly to look her girlfriend in her face. "Now.. You get dressed, and hurry we dont want to be late love!" Vi nodded again before watching her girlfriend leave the room, shutting the door quietly before facing the pile of clothes on her bed. Taking a deep breathe she looked over them one more time before picking out a simple mahogany dress shirt with navy pants and her normal red jacket.  After making sure her hair wasn't to bad she took a deep breath and stepped out of the room into the hallway. 

Caitlyn was in the kitchen, putting on a few jewelry she had picked out for the occain before hand. Upon hearing the door open Caitlyn glanced up and smiled seeing Vi walk out. Vi blushed faintly as Caitlyn scanned her outfit, walking up to her girlfriend she wrapped the sheriff into a tight hug. "you look dashing honey.. see nothing to worry about right?" Vi simply nodded, tucking her face into caitlyns neck and taking in her prefume, relaxing in the familliar hold of her girlfriend.  "You look beautiful Cait.. almost ready to go?" Caitlyn chucked and puled away nodding. "Yep, lets head out!" Vi nodded and let Caitlyn led the way out of the apartment, locking the door behind them before heading towards the elevator to the lobby.

Before long they found themsleves walking through the gate that surrounded the Kiramann Manor. Vi gulped softly but pushed through alogside Caitlyn, though they hardly reached the door when it was opened. "Ah Caitlyn, Violet lovely to see you both again!" the warm voice of Caitlyns father was her only warning as the man himself walks out and englufs his daughter into a quick hug, kissing the top of her hair. After a moment he turned to Vi and gave her a gentle hug, one vi couldnt help but relax into, the mans warmth reminding her so much of Vander and her own fathers hugs. Its obvious where Caitlyn had learned to give the best hug. she didnt commet, and thankfully nor did Caitlyn, that the hug lasted longer than caitlyns herself, before the man finally pulled away. grabing her shoulder lightly Tobias brought her inside, Caitlyn left laughing softly to follow. 

"Vi just the person i was waiing for, do you mind helping me find the perfect alochol for tinights dinner?" Tobias said excitdly and vi just nodded, still slightly confused but by no means a stranger to the mans habits. She spotted Cassandra and gave her a small wave, mouth opening to say hello when Tobias grabbed her hand and dragged her downstairs, the soft chuckles of assandra following them. Caitlyn greeted her mother with a soft smile bringing them into a hug. "Hello mother. thank you for the inventaion to the dinner tonght." "no worries dear, you know we just worry about you, though we know you will be safe with Violet. " Caitlyn smiled and pulled away. "Shall we set up the table Cait? let the two have their fun?" "sounds great mom. After you" Caitlyn followed her mom into the dining room, a soft smile on her face as she thought of the brawler and her father getting along great.

When vi and tobais returned, they saw both Caitlyn and Cassandra sitting at the table, idly talking with water infront of them. As soon as they entered the dining room the chefs started bringing out the main dishes. Once they were seated Tobias started pouring out the achol and they had started eating, talking a about work and what the council had been working towars recently. overall it was a great dinner, and Vi never felt more at peace with the Kiramanns
