"Hey cupcake?" Vi walked into their shared office at the Police office. Flopping on her chair she turns to Caitlin a unusual nervous look on her face.
"Yes Vi?" Caitlyn turned to look at vi a eyebrow raised in confusion. "Soo... I told my family about you.. and they want to meet you. Are fee tonight?"
Caitlin raised her eyebrows at that then chuckles. "Where you seriously nervous about asking me that?" "Shut up cupcake! But I'm all seriousness, are you free tonight?" Caitlyn giggles subsided and she nodded. "I'm free, come get me around 5?" Vi nodded and left to patrol.
At around 5 Caitlin heard a knock on her apartment door. She wasn't sure how to dress for this so she just went with a clean pair of pants and a blue shirt. Opening the door to show Vi, a little bruised from earlier today, yet in her normal clothes waiting.
"Wow cait. You look nice." "Thank you Vi. Lead the way!" Caitlin closed her apartment door then took Vi's outstretched hand letting her lead to Zaun. Vi's adoupted father bought a house on the topside of Zaun and Caitlin smiled seeing the shabby small place.
Vi opened the door letting her walk in first before following. Yelling out that they were there vi walks into the kitchen and helps out. Caitlin follows only to be pulled into a hug by Vander. "Hey kiddo! Good to see you again!" "Good to see you too, I'm glad that you all are doing good."
The night was filled with laughter, messing with Vi or powder/jinx, and talking. As jinx went to bed the mood shifted slightly. "I heard about the urgot boss you two fought. I wanted to make sure you both were okay." "We are fine Vander, we got him down luckily." Vander nodded and hugged them both again. In the embrace gander whispered something to her.
She smiled and nodded before gently taking Vi's hand. "Ready to go? We do have work in the morning." We hugged Vander one more time before leaving, he seemed to whisper something to Vi to cause her to blush, before they leave.
"Your family is very nice Vi, we need to do this more often." Vi chuckled and nodded. "Yea? I'm glad." "Hey what did Vander whisper to you?" Vi blushes and shook her head "nothing cmon lets get you to your apartment." With a nod Vi brought caitlyn home giving her a quick kiss before turning and starting her trek to her own apartment.
"Keep a good hold on this one Vi."
