It was the middle of the night and they were on a stakeout near a building on the docks. Vi was bored and used a flashlight to the wall on her side and started doing little shadow puppets. Soon enough Vi's giggling filled the car as she made little animals.
Caitlyn looked over and smiled gently at her girlfriend. Since she had known Her Vi was very vague, and reserved when it came to work, however in the quiet moments of the night or during the day ,when she thought no one was looking,she would put down this mask she made and have a few moments like now. Caitlyn smiled watching Vi'a happy smile as she made different shapes and animals with her hands giggling at the ones that were wonky, or chubby.
Vi looked over at Caitlyn and saw that she was watching. She immediately sombered up, turned off the flashlight and looked ahead blushing out of embarrassment. "Vi.. it's okay to relax and be yourself you know?" Caitlyn said softly reaching over and turning her girlfriends chin to look at her. "I know cupcake.. it's just werid.." "how so?"Vi went quiet for a second seeming to gather her thoughts
"Back before everything happened I had the others to look after, I couldn't allow myself to get distracted when I had their lives as well as my own in my hands.. so I'm used to keeping this mask up." "Your not living in that reality anymore though. You can relax and be yourself." Caitlyn gently took the flashlight from her pointed it to the wall and turned it on before making a bunny. She looked over at vi gently motioning to the wall with her head.
After some moments of hesitation Vi smiled gently and made a dog head out of her hands and moved it to Caitlyns bunny making it bop noses with hers. Vi let out a small giggle after that and Caitlyn smiled happy to see this side of Vi.
