Join the Fight (Ekko/Jinx)

Ekko had been watching from a distance. he saw his best friend make the monkey into a bomb and sent it off. he watched as it launched her off the building she was situated on, watched as the building itself came tumbling apart. watched with tears as vanders body broke through a window and hit the ground hard, sending the one girl he thought of as a sibling tumbling slightly. watched as vi cried over vander body, as powder started rambling as she walked closer, ecstatic that it worked. watched and flinched, fear pooling in his gut as vi started yelling and powder, smacked her younger sister, who was in full hysterics before scoffing and limping away. 

ekko remembered that Vi always had a hot head and temper. she had to, she said, to protect her family. ekko watched vi imp away holding her arm tighty probably to steady the pain, and to clear her head. when he found the coast to be clear hs jumped down and ran for the sobbing girl. "powder..?" he said dropping to her level, only to yelp softly in surprise as she lunged at him holding his shirt tightly and crying into his shoulder. ekko allowed the girl a few moments, but as her heard footsteps over the raging fire he quickly gathered powder and helped her run, hiding in a nearby building as silco showed his face. 

the two watched in silence as Silco crouched down to be level with Vander and say something softly before standing and motioning his gang to follow. Ekko watched with wary eyes as they all turned, though one of the larger males stopped and scanned the area carefully, cradling the body of Sevkia in his arms before he walked away fully. when they were fully out of sight, the smoke hiding the figures, ekko let out a sigh. powder did the same before her eyes widened. "V-VI! shes all alone? we need to check on her!" ekko studied the blue haired girl in front of him. even after her older sister had yelled and hurt her she was still worried. ekko smiled and nodded, "ill go check on her, she could still be a little mad at you." powder frowned but nodded. "okay.."

ekko patted her knee softly,"stay here okay just in case silco come back, i dont want to risk it." powder nods again and watched with wide eyes as the white haired boy poked his head out before racing out and towards the way he just saw Vi go. he rounded the corner and gasped softly not seeing the red head. he looked around, though finding nothing other than a discarded fabric and scuff marks on the floor, leading to a tunnel he was worried but didn't want to follow, instead made his way back to powder. 

blue eyes met his in excitement before falling to disappointment upon not seeing her sister, and ekkos face. "where is my sister?"powder asked softly. "i-i dont know i saw a cloth and scuff marks leading to a tunnel but thats it.. i think she was taken.." powder whimpered softly with tears hands gripping her hair tightly. ekko moved closer and grabbed her arms gently leading her away. "its okay pow.. i gotcha.. i got your back until we can find Vi i promise." 

years later she was up in the treefort when she heard commotion from the entrance. she went out on the deck to see two firelights holding two bound people, bags covered their heads, but from the clothes and little parts of their bodies she saw she was mildly intrigued. she took a glance to the portate to her left and took a deep breathe to steady herself. she turned hearing her name and saw Ekko waving down at her. she smiled and waved back before climbing down and met up with him. "whats up ?" ekko smirked slightly. "we found her pow."  powderttled her head confused., before laughing, though it sounded a little strained. "dont joke like that ekko." ekko shook his head. "im serious, cmon im about to see her myself." 

powder raised a eyebrow bt followed behind him and to a room. the one with the res jacket was already there struggling against the rope and snarling from within the bag. though the profanities the other was shooting along with the voice clicked in powders head. her older sister grown, so much sturdier and with the additions to her tattoos. "V-Violet..?" Powder whispered her eyes still wide in shock at her older sister actually being here. 

Vi froze when she heard her little sister. for the past 6 or 7 years in prison, the thought of her little sister kept her going. after every beating, attack and shove she endured so she could get out to get to her sister. she turned to the voice though the bag and bound arms made it hard. "pow-powder? is that actually you?" "and boy wonder.." V chuckled before it turned into a hiss, as the bag was pulled from her head she shook to rid of herself of the blinding light, hearing the chuckles of both his sister and her best friend. Vi turned and took in how they had both changed. 

Ekko grew to be just about Vi's height, his face had lost his boyish figure, his hair now in white dreads instead of his flowy hair he had as a kid. Jinx had definitely grow bigger, coming just below Vi's chin, her hair grew longer, nw in two braids, with gun shells and nts holding the hair together, vi stood up taking in the two, and stepped closer quickly getting her hands free before hugging her sister closer. Ekko watched in surprise. "how the hell..? when you get them off?" Vi just smirked winking at Ekko. when they finally stepped away from jinx she smiled. "nice to see you two Boy Wonder, i hope you protected each other." ekko scoffed and pushed her slightly. "of course i have.. shut up" vi laughed and let herself be lead with ekko and powder outside, she watched ekko walk away to set Caitlyn free and Vi used the time to catch up with her little sister.
