(Okay again not as bad as the title may seem wanted to do something Halloween related since it's tomorrow!)
It was the day of Halloween. Their little houses front had been decorated as wel as the other houses along the block. Caitlyn had a big bowl of candy that she protected carefully, everytime Vi tried to reach for one her hand would be softly slapped away.
"No Vi, that's for the Trick or Treaters." "But cupcake cmon! It's just one!" Vi said back huffing softly. "With you Vi one is never just One. You will eat the entire bowl in a second!" Caitlyn said retaliating and whacking her hand away softly again.
As the sun started to set Caitlyn and Vi sat watching a horror movie. In reality, Caitlyn had her head buried her head into Vi's side as Vi watched the movie. The doorbell ringing had Vi up, pausing the movie and grabbing the bowl of Candy. And like Caitlyn told her to opens the door only to yelp and go to punch the ghost but stopped herself at the kids own flinch.
"VIOLET! Don't you dare hurt that kid!" "It's a ghost! Though!" "No it isn't it's just a kid!" Caitlyn walked over and grabbed a few peices. "Here you go buddy, sorry about her and happy Halloween!" The kid took two frightening steps back before turning and running to their parents waiting by the street.
"Ugh cait imma just watch the movie, you handle the candy." She went to move back into the house but Caitlyn grabbed her hand. How about we sit outside and watch them okay?" Caitlyn gently dragged her outside where they watched the trick or treaters. After a few times Vi handed out some of the candy.
The kids smiled and some even hugged them which had Vi flinching slightly but soon really liked handing out the candy and even joked with some of the kids, and some of the grownups when they would answer her.
Once the last of the trick or treaters thinned out Vi had a huge grin. "That was awesomeness did you see those kids?!" They had such cool costumes!" Caitlyn just chuckled and brought their stuff inside with Vi's help.
"Next year can we dress up? That would be awesome!" She was getting ready for bed and looked over at Vi laughing. "Sure Vi, we can dress up haha."
