Changed for the Better

Vi and Caitlyn we're down in Zaun, for once not for a mission. They had the day off and Vi was using it to show Caitlyn all over where she grew up. They had stopped and looked over The Last Drop, abandoned after both Silco and Sevikas death, no one wanted to pick it back up. Vi didn't have the guts to see the inside after her fight with Sevika, knowing that it was a disaster, and she was the cause.

Caitlyn gently led her away from the front porch, not talking and instead letting Vi take her time instead just walking aimlessly down the streets and taking in the sights. The streets were so much cleaner and the smog that covered the lowest part of Zaun had lifted slightly. There were still some of Shimmer going around, but those who wanted to get off the drug was put in medical treatment, making sure they didn't relapse. There was a new small hospital down in Zain as well, as well as a school to start teaching the young of the undercity.

Things have changed after Silcos rule, and both Vi and Caitlyn had fought hard to make Zaun what it was today. With the tons of money behind her name, Caitlyn made sure to build better housing, school, a hospital, as well as help find so many Zaun jobs within the mines or in piltover so they can earn money.

Crime rates down in Zaun had been diminishing slowly, not fully but enough that it was noticeable, and Caitlin could thank the pink haired brawler for that. For opening her eyes to the treatment of Zaun and its inhabitants, and showing her that Zaun was something to fight for alongside Piltover.

No one lead Zaun anymore, not after Vander died, and Silcos power vaccum since all his lackeys ran away to not g er caught, though everyone unofficially seemed to have elected Vi and the Firelights as their leader, treating them with respect and bringing up issues that needed to be changed, who brought it up with Caitlin and the remaining Coucil.

Slowly they had been fighting for a better zaun, and better future for the young of Zaun.
