Jayce and Vicktor have been working on perfecting the cube charm for a while now. Since realizing it responds to organic matter they tested different plants, but the results where always the same. The plants would reject the transformation. That put a huge dent in their work.

Jayce had just been facing the chalkboard working on the equation when he heard Vicktor yell out. Glancing over Jayce watched transfixed as the blood Vicktor coughed up rose and connected to the cube. After it connected it glowed a white flash before going back to its purple hue. it seemed to pull Vicktor in and before Jayce could stop his partner Vicktor touched it.

Victor screamed out upon impact and the whole cube crackled and glowed purple seeming to fully cover Vicktor. Jayce ran over and blindly stumbled around trying to find a way to detach Vicktor from the cube before it got worse. Vicktors screams and groans of pain motivated Jayce to take his shoulder and pull him away.

As soon as Vicktor stopped touching the Purple cube it went immediately back to glowing a harmless purple sometimes crackling. Vicktor fell limp in Jayces arms causing Jayce to hold him tightly agaisnt his body. Vicktors body crackled slightly and a purple haze was coming from his body. A bit of blood was coming from his mouth so Jayce wiped it away slightly and leaned his partner agaisnt the wall gently.

Failing a couple times to wake Vicktor up Jayce called the ambulance who came quickly, loaded Vicktor up and drove off leaving Jayce worried for his lab partner. After a sleepless night Jayce decided to visit his Lab partner in the hospital.

Getting to his room with some food in hand he opened it quietly released to see Vicktor up. "Hey I have food?" "Ah thank you! You don't know how bad hospital food isss" victor responded already smelling the food and reaching for his.

Jayce chuckled and handed him his food and they both ate while talking over the discoveries. Before long Victor was discharged and was back to working in the lab with Jayce watching his every move to keep him safe.
