Arcane: Leage of Legends oneshots

Sheriff down (pt 2)

Vi hardly slept that night. her stomach was knotted, making it difficult to eat or even drink anything before she gave up and changed into pjs and laying on her side of the bed. unable to stand the sight of her girlfriends empty side, tossing and turning before finally just giving up. sliping into tanktop and shorts she headed out of their apartment and towards the gym, beating her problmes away onto a punching bag late into the morning. she went straight from the Gym to the hosptial, wanting t see how her girlfriend was doing, though she knew Caitlyn was in good hands she couldnt help it. she knew she should also be checked out, but put it on the back burner, knowing Caitlyn always came first. upon walking into the hosptial waiting room, she spotted the slouched and sleeping form of the counciler Kiramann, i the same seat she was the night before, though leaning her head on her hands, resting her elbow on the arm of the plasic chairs. she had a blanket wrapped around er, most likly from her husband, or a fellow nurse when she fell asleep. she was glad the counciler got some sort of sleep, though she knew she would get a earful for not sleeping herself, se walked up and gently shook the councilers shoulder.

 "huh...wha..." Cassandra said still half asleep as she lifted her head from her hands, the blanket slipping off her shoulders as she strightened up and streched out. as her eyesight clear, she saw Vi more clearly and  saw the eyebags, scratches, and blood covering the ex-convicts body and face more clearly. "goodness Vi.. did you sleep or even clean up honey?" Cassandra stood up gently taking vi's head in her hands and moved it around to get a better look at the ex-convict. Vi chuckled softly and put her hands on the counclers own. "im okay maam.. its nothing new.. got worse in the prison, but you should go sleep in a actual bed maam. ill take over" Cassandra looked over Vi with a mothers eye.. she knew Vi didnt have the best childhood, spending most of it protcting her siblings, then in a jail much to old for her, and were everyone treated her badly. 

Vi learned to hide how she turly is within walls and layers . pushng down everyting until she had a moment to herself. Cassandra smiled sadly and shook her head. "if i leae now you will never let yourself be seen honey.. you know Caitlyn would beat your butt if she saw you right now Vi.." Vi froze knowing the counciler was right, and let herself be dragged to the recpetonist, then lead into the back and into a room with Cassandra right behind. she gently pushed Vi into the chair, hen standing right beside the chair. "dont worry, ive requested my husband come to help you, so its not someone you dont know Vi." Vi just nodded, the pain coming to her now that she was off her feet and relaxing. as the door opened and Tobias came in he smiled. "Ah my faveriote patient, my wife tells me your hurt Vi?" Vi nodded and allowed him to quickly and efficnetly wrap and clean her wounds, setting the bones straight and putting them in a cast. finally sitting back he smiled. 

"there you are Vi, be careful for a few days okay? and on goo news, Caitlyn is out of surgery and in her own room, she should be awake right now if you want to see her Vi. Vi perked up at that and nodded eagerly, anting to see ith her own eyes that her girlfriend was okay now. Tobias chuckled and got up leading Vi to the room. "here we are, be careful, she may still be waking up so just wait." Vi nodded and gently pushed the door open, her eyes immidatly catching the sight of her girlfriend on the bed, Caitlyn looked to have just woken up, her eyes still slightly hazy but brightned upon seeing Vi. "Violet! your okay!" "I'm okay?! you went missing for three months! and when i found you, you were so badly wounded... i thought you were dead!!" Caitlyn opened her arms gently and vi didnt hesitate before climbing on the bed and hugging caitlyn back just as tightly. "im alive honey.. aliv becuase you got to me in time. we are both okay." Vi just nodded and hugged her just as tightly back gald that her girlfriend it safe and on the right path to healing.
