You were Bulma's younger adopted sister, living in a capsule house not too far from her and your adopted parents. Unlike the bustling Brief House, you cherished your solitude and preferred the tranquility of your own space. You were best friends with Goku and Krillin, too, but your shy demeanor usually kept you on the sidelines. You only had a bit of training, too, but nothing past Yamcha level.
After the events on Namek, Vegeta found himself in need of a place to stay. With Bulma already sharing her home with her boyfriend Yamcha, the chaos within the Brief House was reaching its limit.
In a surprising turn of events, Bulma volunteered your house as a temporary residence for the Saiyan Prince. The mere thought of housing Vegeta made you squeak with apprehension.
Vegeta, known for his demanding and harsh demeanor, surprisingly hadn't caused any destruction since moving into your spare room a few weeks ago.
You respected his need for space and ensured he had enough food, often keeping to yourself. Unbeknownst to Vegeta, your presence actually had a calming effect on him. However, it irked him to think that you were afraid of him, even though he would never admit it.
**5 months later**
As you watched a movie in the living room one evening, your attention was momentarily diverted when Vegeta returned from his intense training session at Bulma's house. Covered in sweat and dirt, he exuded an aura of determination and strength.
Feeling his piercing gaze, you quickly averted your eyes back to the TV, waiting until he disappeared into his room before mustering the courage to get up and prepare a generous amount of food for him.
When Vegeta emerged once again, he appeared refreshed and comfortable, his damp hair indicating that he had taken a long shower. Just as you were about to give him some space in the living room to relax, he unexpectedly halted you with a commanding tone. "Sit back down."
Hesitant, you slowly lowered yourself back onto the couch, casting a shy glance in his direction.
There was no denying that Vegeta was undeniably attractive. Strength seemed to radiate from every aspect of his being - his will, his personality, his physical prowess, even his very name.
What caught you off guard, however, was the fact that Vegeta grabbed the large plate of meticulously stacked sandwiches you had prepared and settled down next to you, instead of retreating to the solitude of the dining room to eat alone.
You decided to switch to a different movie, opting for "How To Train Your Dragon" - a film that wasn't solely focused on fighting or a comical romance. Despite it being a children's movie, you adored it, regardless of what others might think.
Vegeta scoffed quietly, but it was evident that he was paying attention to the movie as he continued to eat.
Smiling to yourself, you maintained your distance on the couch, curling up comfortably in the corner.
Throughout the movie, Vegeta would occasionally steal glances in your direction, becoming more engrossed as the climax of the film unfolded, featuring the epic battle with the giant alpha dragon.
As the movie came to an end, Vegeta had already devoured all the food, noticing that you had fallen asleep.
He scoffed softly, observing you as you slept. "Falling asleep so easily near a warrior who could easily kill you... Moron," he muttered under his breath. However, he carefully rose from his seat, making sure not to disturb your slumber. Gently, he scooped you up, taking a moment to appreciate your features before carrying you to your room.
The following morning, as you woke up in your room, you couldn't help but wonder how you ended up there. The lingering scent of Vegeta's soap on your shirt provided a clue.
