After the intense tournament wrapped up, Master Roshi graciously invited your entire group to a dinner at a nearby restaurant to unwind. Amidst the relaxed atmosphere, Tien, after a moment of contemplation, politely declined the invitation, surprising everyone. With a sense of remorse, he expressed his feelings of unworthiness due to his past wrongdoings, particularly apologizing to you for his overzealous actions during the tournament. You reassured Tien, acknowledging the intense battle and emphasizing that his victory was still commendable. Master Roshi intervened, encouraging Tien to focus on his positive changes, offering a path to redemption.

Tien, taken aback by the unexpected support, eventually nodded, showing a faint smile. As the group prepared to freshen up before heading to the restaurant, Goku realized he had forgotten Grandpa Gohan's four-star dragon ball and your power poles. Krillin, ever the supportive friend, immediately volunteered to retrieve them, dismissing Goku's attempts to refuse. Goku, grateful and apologetic, promised to save a seat for Krillin at the restaurant as thanks for his kind gesture, waving as Krillin hurried off to fetch the forgotten items.

(A/N: So I've just realized that this next part is basically definitely a past moment being in the present of this situation, considering this part of the storyline happens when Goku and Krillin are still little kids. So instead, this next part is basically a delayed and altered timeline storyline. ┐( ˘_˘)┌ Just to avoid confusion for the next part, but I apologize either way.)

However, after getting your seats at the restaurant and everyone is digging into the food, you haven't touched a single morsel. You're slightly fidgeting with your hands under the table as you feel completely uneasy, before Goku speaks up in a low tone. "You aren't eating either, are you feeling the same way I am?" He asks quietly, and you lift your gaze to see that Goku's plate was empty as well before you gaze into his eyes, noting the nervous glint. "Yeah.. but why are we feeling so uneasy, especially at the same time?" You ask, reciprocating the hushed tone.

'Help!'

You and Goku are startled at the same time, both of your eyes wide as saucers as you clearly hear a cry for help. And not only that, it was Krillin's voice that you had heard so loudly. With only a quick shared glance, you and Goku shoot up and run out of the restaurant, confusing the rest of your friends who trailed after the two of you in concern.

You and Goku waste no time getting to where Krillin was supposed to be, before both of you stop in your tracks with paling faces. The announcer from the tournament and Krillin are both laying flat on the ground, the dread freezing the nerves in your veins. You rush and check on the announcer, sighing in relief that he's breathing and just unconscious. But the same can't be said for the bald monk, as Goku is doing his best to shake Krillin awake. But to no avail. Your heart clenches tightly as you and Goku both realize that your best friend is dead.

The heart-wrenching scene unfolded, leaving Master Roshi and the others in shock as they arrived to witness the devastating loss of Krillin. Tears flowed uncontrollably from both you and Goku, reminiscent of the sorrow felt only once before, during the passing of Grandpa Gohan.

Amidst the cries, the announcer regained consciousness, attended to by Yamcha while you and Goku grieved beside each other, your sorrow palpable. Learning that a sinister green demon had attacked and taken Krillin's life for the four-star dragon ball, your grief transformed into a furious rage. Struggling to control your emotions, an intense surge of energy pulsed through you, causing the ground to tremble and the sky to darken with ominous clouds. Only Goku recognized the unsettling changes overtaking you.

In a fleeting moment, your hair flickered to a strange blonde hue, but with deep breaths and clenched fists, you managed to rein in the overwhelming power, returning to a state of somber grief. Placing Krillin's body gently on the ground, Goku enveloped you in a consoling embrace, offering reassurance amid your pain. His pledge to avenge Krillin brought a shaky nod from you, acknowledging the resolute determination in Goku's voice.

Determined to seek justice for Krillin's unjust demise, you and Goku shared an unspoken vow to confront the demonic assailant responsible. Your determination to make the malevolent figure pay for their heinous act burned fiercely within, a promise forged amidst grief and a thirst for retribution.

You and Goku don't waste any time in tracking down this demonic figure, despite Roshi trying to get you both to come back.

It doesn't take long to find the demon man responsible for killing Krillin and stealing the four star dragon ball, and you and Goku waste no time in serving justice.

After it's all over, and you're all at Master Roshi's house, Bulma summons Shenron and Krillin is revived. It's a moment of pure relief and happiness.

After everything finally calms down, it seems that everyone goes to get back to their own lives, including you and Goku.

You both return to Mount Paozu, the area already having new growth of trees and stuff. You glance around some before taking a careful breath as your emotions still feel slightly raw, but Goku gently grabs your hand. "Hey, Y/N.. do you know what happened, back when we found Krillin?"

You look up at him, blinking in confusion. "No..? What do you mean?" You ask, and Goku squeezes your hand. "What I mean is, well, it's kinda confusing to me too but.. your energy got really weird and strong, it was stronger than anything I've ever felt from you. Do you know why?" He asks, but your purse your lips in utter confusion before looking down. "I.. no, not really. I don't remember anything other than being angry, and then I was really sad.."

Goku watches you, gently pulling you closer to him so that he can wrap his arms around you, nuzzling his face into your hair. "Okay.. I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

You relax in Goku's hold, smiling shyly as you wrap your arms around him in return and snuggle into his hold a bit. "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks." You say. Both of you look at each other and smile softly, before you share your second kiss. After breaking the kiss slowly, both of you giggle and look at the area around you. "Let's get started, yeah?" You ask, and Goku nods with a smile. "Yeah."

It takes a while, but soon enough Mount Paozu is renewed into your forever home. You and Goku also redo Grandpa Gohan's tiny home, but it's more of a shrine dedicated to the man who raised you than anything.

You and Goku visit the others a month after constructing a home with each other on Mount Paozu, you and all of your friends meeting up at Master Roshi's house to hang out. You easily ignore Master Roshi's advances on you now that you're wearing a more open gi, one that resembles Goku's orange one, but in your own colors that's definitely less baggy.

You enjoy the time with everyone, but you can't help but to voice the confusion that Goku's definitely feeling as well. "Um.. who are you again?" You ask a woman clad in traditional clothing that's sitting awfully close to Goku's other side. She has long raven black hair and black eyes, but you can't recall who she is. The deep teeth baring scowl she gives you makes you recoil a bit, and you wonder if you've offended her. "My name is ChiChi!" She then gives Goku a super sweet smile. "Remember? I'm the daughter of the Ox King, you saved me when we were little kids!"

Goku stares in absolute confusion before it clicks in his head, and then he scoots closer to you. "Oh yeah, you're that bully."

ChiChi's face falls quickly as Goku gives her an untrusting look while sitting even closer to you with a protective air, and she stammers. "I-I was a little girl back then, I'm sorry for my actions. I've changed though!" She says, but Goku rests his hand over yours. "You should be apologizing to Y/N though, not me." He says. ChiChi seems to struggle with giving you an actual apology, but she eventually does, though it seems painful for her to do so. You just shrug it off and continue to enjoy the time with the rest of your friends and Goku, who's definitely more interested in you than anyone or anything else.

You're his world, after all.

And he was ChiChi's world, even if he didn't know or didn't care. Or both.

And you were in the way of that. But not for much longer, ChiChi thought.
