I finished my studying earlier today, and I couldn't get this idea out of my mind, so I decided to write it and see your reactions :)

~~~
I was at work when I received a letter from Professor McGonagall, I mean headmistress, that my thirteen year old son Arthur had got into a fight at school and that my arrival was needed because the one of the other kid's parents were at the school ready to cause a scene for the black eye their kid had. I was walking through the familiar hallways, looking furious not at my son but at whoever was the parent who had pulled me out of work and suggested that my kid should be expelled.
I met Arthur's twin, Molly, standing with Scorpius and Albus outside the headmistress's office, and she immediately ran to me, giving me a long hug after not seeing me for a while. When she pulled away, I asked her what had happened, and I saw her blue eyes travel towards the floor, completely upset with the entire situation
Molly: We were walking towards the Quidditch field for practice and that Slytherin kid called us Weasley blood traitors, Arthur got upset and started to beat his ass until Albus and Scorpius pulled him away
She said, and I looked towards my two nephews, who were a few steps behind him
Albus: We know Orion Flint, he is a real pain in the ass, I wish I could have given him the black eye instead
He said, and I could feel my anger build up when I heard that specific surname. Well, this is going to be a really fun reunion. I entered McGonagall's office, more furious than I was when I arrived at Hogwarts, and when Flint's eyes fell on me, his smile faded, but Arthur smiled when he saw me entering
Y/n: My son would have never done something without a reason, and you know that very well, Headmistress
I said, walking towards Arthur, who was sitting on a chair opposite McGonagall, and she just nodded at my words, clearly being done with the entire situation because Flint had gotten it too far. I put my hand into Arthur's blonde curls, petting his head comfortingly
Marcus: I should have suspected that you married the redheaded Weasley, but fortunately, that kid got your genes
He said, and I glared at him because I was getting angrier by the second that was passing
Y/n: Can we end this with his son apologizing, Professor? Because I was informed that Flint Junior called Arthur and Molly bloodtraitors, which is not accepted?
I said, and before McGonagall was able to say anything, Flint spoke up
Marcus: Professor, this needs to be looked into more because the father of that kid had done the same thing to me back in our time, so I think that father and son may have some issues
He said, and by the reflection of the window, I saw Arthur smirk at himself after hearing what his father had also done years ago. Day by day, the twins were changing their favourite parent from when they were little, and that kind of hurt because my little boy was always attached to me.  But I almost cried when Molly came to me for boy advice before the beginning of the school year. Ah, I didn't want them to also grow up. With Ruby and Teddy out of the house, I felt emptier and emptier without my kids, but at least I had Percy with me, and he was more than enough
Y/n: Or maybe you should teach your son to keep his mouth shut if he doesn't want to face the consequences of his words
I said, and Flint raised his eyebrows at me, surprised by my response
Marcus: At least my kid didn't use violence
He said, and I let out a small laugh
Y/n: Maybe he was planning to use poison to get rid of his problems, which is definitely a reason to expel someone, and not a black eye, which can be healed with a single spell
I said, and his face dropped at my words because I was clearly referring to his actions in our seventh year, but before he was able to say anything, the Headmistress stood up and stopped him
Minerva: I believe that Mrs Weasley is right, this is definitely a waste of time, but that doesn't mean I won't take fifty points out of Slytherin for bad use of words and fifty out of Gryffindor for bad use of actions. But I also believe that ten points should be awarded to Mr Weasley because he was a true Gryffindor today
She said, winking at Arthur, who just smiled at her, before Flint Junior spoke up with a smile too clearly waiting to also get something in return
Orior: And what do I get, Professor?
He asked, and she turned to him while smiling
Minerva: A three-month detention
She said, and I let out a small laugh, which made Arthur look towards me, surprised, while I tried to cover it. After the whole thing was finished, we were walking outside, and I noticed how nervous he was trying to find the right words to say something he had in his mind, and it kind of reminded me of how Percy used to act when we had started dating
Arthur: Mum, before you say anything, I want-
He said while I was walking him back to his common room, knowing the way even better than he did from the times I had sneaked into it to sleep in Percy's dorm, and I smiled at the thought but also at his tries to apologize to me
Y/n: So, how many punches did you give him?
I asked with a smile, and I saw one also appear on his face while his nervousness started to disappear
Arthur: How many did Dad give to his father, and I definitely want to know the reason why?
He said, getting excited, and I just smiled before we sat on a nearby bench
Y/n: I don't remember exactly the number, but definitely around six or seven before I pulled him away with Uncle Oliver, but the reason he even punched him in the first place was because he called me something bad. And the fact that you not only stood up for yourself today but also for your sister made me really proud, and I am sure your dad will definitely be too
I said, clearing his face from the blond curls that were in front of his blue eyes, and he smiled
Arthur: Well, if he called you something bad, then his father deserves my punch, too
He said, and I smiled before nodding negatively
Y/n: How about we stop punching people for this year, because I can't leave work again, or next time you can ask your father to come
I said, and he nodded with a smile
Arthur: Fine, Mom, I promise to stop punching people
He said,sarcastically, but before I was able to say anything, Molly entered the corridor, whose eyes lit up when she spotted us
Molly: Mom, thank Merlin, you didn't leave yet because I need your advice about something
She said, walking up to us and putting her ginger hair behind her ears with a smile on her face, sitting next to me
Arthur: Or maybe I can punch the Hufflepuff boy that she has been seeing
He said, and I immediately looked at him before he raised his hands in defence
Arthur: Dad will definitely agree to help me
He said, and I gently hit him on the head before the three of us started laughing. I took both of my babies in my arms, enjoying the moment before having to leave them behind again. Because there is nothing that hurts more than seeing your kids grow up
" Now I understand why Peter Pan didn't want to grow up"
