Part 60

I wish this day would be longer then just 24 hours. I'm starting school tomorrow and I really don't want to go. I mean I have a elective I didn't know existed until I saw my schedule and find out from the teacher himself. I don't even know if I would even like it but whatever. Wish me luck ig. Soviet's POV

I watched as a few doctors came into the room and brought something inside with them. I could tell that the thing they have brought inside my room is in fact a walker. I mean I already know I'm old but I don't need to be reminded of it though.

I wasn't really excited for this day. I wasn't really excited for any day but this is way worse then any of the others but it will be beneficial for me and my family. Today I will have to try and get Russia off my side and at least give me enough room to do the next thing. I was going to have to move my body which felt like a million pounds so I could stand and/or walk.

I haven't left this bed for the pass 2-3 weeks so I wouldn't be surprised if it would be hard for me to walk. My body also didn't seem like it liked the lack of movement either.

"Alright USSR." I looked over to the doctor that said my name. He had light brown hair and dark brown eye. He also had some glasses that sat on his his nose and when he talked his words were coated in a thick German accent. His name is Dr. Walter and he's been taking care of me the entire time I've been here. It's safe to say he's pretty nice and even Russia kind of gets happy when seeing him.

"So as I've already told you we're going to attempt to get you to stand today and maybe walk. Then we can maybe go on a walk around the hospital, how does that sound?" I didn't really like how that all sounded. I didn't want to get up for more reasons then one but just to be nice I just agreed. "Mhm it does." he gave me a little smile and he looked over at Russia.

"Do you think you have it on your own?" I nodded my head and looked down at the child. "Russia can you let go please?" he just shook his head and hugged me tighter. "Please Russia I need to get up." he then looked up at me. "But папа hasn't gotten up in a long time so why now?" I let out a sigh and rubbed his head. "I know but I need to now and you can stay on the bed until I get back-" then out of nowhere a girl ran into the hospital room.

"I'm sorry hopefully I'm not to late." she placed her hands on her knees while trying to catch her breath. I just looked at her in shock and confusion. "Your not and where is Ivan?" Dr. Walter said to the girl that ran in.

I then felt as Russia quickly sat up in the bed and looked at the girl. "Carmen you're back!" so I'm guessing that this girl is named Carmen. She looked over at Russia and smiled. "Hi Russia it's nice to see you again." she gave him a little wave and Russia did it back.

Then a boy walked into the room and stood next to Carmen. "Hi Russia." he said smiling while also waving at him. "Hi Ivan- oh wait!" Russia quickly looked at me and pointed to the boy named Ivan. "Did you know he's from your country папа?" I shook my head. "Where?" I asked and Russia started to speak. "He's from..... Ummm." he looked over at Ivan. "What is it called agian?" Ivan then laughed a bit. "BSSR." Russia nodded his head and looked back at me. "He's from BSSR." Russia had a big smile on his face when he said that and I also smiled a bit. I really did miss that smile of his.

"Alright Russia come on we have a fun day planned for you." Carmen said and I looked at her in confusion. What was that supposed to even mean? "Like what?" Carmen then looked at Ivan and they both gave each other a few looks before looking at Russia agian. "That's a surprise so come on." she held out her hand and Russia started to move towards her.

I then realized what was finally happening.

I quickly sat up in the bed which didn't feel nice at all. I felt like I just picked up a million pounds and like I'm being pushed down agian by a elephant but I wasn't going to lay back down. My entire torso and back felt so uncomfortable when I sat up and kinda did hurt just a bit.
