All students having the evening class today, were all excited even though it was to be taught till after 7pm at night. The midterms were approaching and the professor of Business Administration and Management, wanted to do some catching up with her students. The supposed class caused even more excitement because it will be holding into the night. Everyone knew Professor Jessi, loved teaching in a dark themed hall room, with both sexes mingling with each other.
Seungmin was laughing at the boy sitting in front of his desk, when his eyes strayed and he saw Daya and her roommate. He looked back down at his hand and shaked the dices, throwing it on his desk. Jisung, the one in front, stared at them. He counted the dots on the first one. Six were facing upwards. "What does that mean?"
"I won", he replied, finding Daya again. He looked at the empty seat next to him. He had kept it for Hyunjin but the boy could go fuck himself. Seungmin picked his phone out, ignoring Jisung's whinnings. He typed into the phone and watched Daya look down at hers.
Come sit next to me.
Daya searched through the students. Her lips almost tugged. She held Nari's wrist, pulling her down. "I have found a seat"
Nari gripped her arm. "You cannot leave me, Daya", she whispered between teeth. Her anxiety was kicking in because of the student-filled place. Daya glanced behind her. "I know someone who can help you in my stead?"
"Who?"
Daya have heard of the little gift her friend had recieved and it was quite a surprise because being so close to one of those boys, she knew that they rarely gifted girls that they've not been with. So, it was a hope she wanted to hold on to.
Hyunjin could not even pass her, because Daya grabbed his hand. "Sunbae, hi"
Hyunjin's eyes widened. "W-what are you d-doing?"
"Nari was just telling me, how lovely it will be to sit with you", she put Nari's hand in his and walked briskly to the stairs. She quietly asked her senior if anyone was sitting next to him, to which he said no, so casually, and she sat down. She could see Nari's disappointing stare as Hyunjin pulled her away.
I'm sorry, Nari.
Professor Jessi walked in and her projector was set for her, and the lights were turned off. "Introduction to the stock market. That would be our focus for the midterms. You just listen to me, and do not write. Understood?"
"Yes, Prof!", came the reply in unison.
"Good", Professor Jessi began her evening lectures to her students. "In the stock market, there is a risk and reward. These are two factors of the stock market. Most buyers dwell in risks more often than rewards. A stock price is as fragile as a ceramic pottery. One dent, just one, and the prices can be as useless as possible. Tonight, I will teach you on how to weigh the cons and pros of the stock market. In other words known as?"
"Risk and Reward!"
The students could see her smile before she turned to the projector.
"Risk and reward", Daya heard Seungmin mutter. After those quiet words, he held her hand, pulling it into the space between their chairs. Daya glanced at the chairs behind and it was just Changbin and Minho. Changbin smiled at her. She smiled back, it wasn't genuine, she turned around, shaking her head with a more genuine smile now.
The little thumb caresses on her hand was so unlike Seungmin but she welcomed it and was even more happy about it.
That's new also.

"Your sister rarely comes to school, why is that?", Hayun asked, sucking on her chocolate popsicle.
