"Rough night, I see", Hyunjin mused, staring at all the hickeys and love bites on the boy's skin.

Seungmin said nothing. He picked a white woven sweater with blue collars and pulled off the shirt he currently had on. His friends jumped on their feet. "Yah!!", they screamed in unison.

Minho who was looking at all the things in the room like he was new, glanced at them. He was very curious but he didn't go over, sticking to his place by the door. He saw what the boys were shouting about though. The red nail marks on his back. He bit his lips to stop his proud chuckle.

"Whoa, Kim Seungmin", Felix traced his fingers on the boy's back. He shuddered, stepping away. He turned his torso to them. "Can you just keep quiet?"

"What?!. No!", Jisung exclaimed, excitement dripping from his whole stance. "You saw it. You've seen them", he waved his fingers, accusingly. "You saw those nasty scars"

"You fucked dirty last night", Jeongin teased, wiggling his brows. Seungmin ignored him, quickly pulling the sweater over his head and covering up his body. "He is embrassed", Jeongin stated the obvious.

"Of course, Jeongin-ah", Changbin supported, highly amused. "No one has manhandled him that way before"

"I wasn't manhandled", Seungmin corrected very fast.

"Oh you were. You totally were", Hyunjin shook his head, his long hair shaking with him. "I never thought I would think you to be cute"

"Stop it", Seungmin snapped at him and the boy stepped back, laughing loudly. With a roll of his eyes, he picked up his already packed backpack. "I thought we all gathered here to leave together?", he wanted to be sure since no one was moving.

"That was the former plan", Jisung answered. "You made us a new plan. How does it feel to be attacked by a wild animal?", he was genuinely curious.

They expected him to ignore them like he always did but; "It wasn't an animal but a small human of 5 feet?. She was wild alright"

In unison, the boys clapped their hands over their mouth. Suddenly, they all wanted to experience what Kim Seungmin did.

"Minho hyung knew this girl's hidden potential", Jeongin said. At the mention of his name, everyone looked at him. He made a deep throaty noise, taking his hand away from his mouth and to his neck. "I don't know what you are talking about?"

"What are you doing here?", Seungmin asked. "I thought I had been disowned"

Minho could remember all the jokes he used to make about disowning the boy whenever he pissed him off. "I thought you wouldn't want me around so I stayed away"

"Why wouldn't I?", Seungmin scoffed, walking to the door, he pulled it open and walked out, vacating for the Christmas break first. He engaged in a friendly pat with Yeonjun who wanted to escape as quickly as possible but found it in him to greet his younger friend. "Han Jisung, lock the windows!"

"He already did", Minho chirped. The boys stared at each other. Minho's lips pulled at the corner a little bit. "I'm sorry", he finally apologised. "For being an insensitive jerk. I shouldn't have defended my sister the way I did. I'm a bastard, yeah?"

"Mmh-hmm yeah", Seungmin said and his hyung locked gaze with him. He expected a blow from the elder boy but Minho just murmured a yeah. "Hyung, come on, I got over that a long time ago. I was just waiting for you to come to me. Was that really hard to do?"

Minho bit his bottom lip, staring into the younger boy's dark eyes that were a bit clear to show how he was affected by his absence. "I'm sorry", he repeated.

Seungmin looked away, nodding. He played with his sleeves. "Why aren't they-", just as he was about to complain about the other boys who had refused to come out from the room, Minho hugged him.

The guys were already out after ensuring the whole place was locked. They didn't want to ruin the reconciliation so they just watched the duo from behind. When Minho hugged him, they all for sure softened into a puddle of melted wax and the way Seungmin hugged the boy back was ethereal. They had to confess that this was the most sincere apology ever as they spoke through their actions rather than words.

The most unemotional people, deep down, express themselves emotionally enough.

"Eomma!!!", Dayeon screamed out in happiness, shutting the door behind her.

Damin laughed aloud in pure joy, running down the steps of her shop. She collided with her last daughter in a big hug, she engulfed the child into her arms, stroking her hair, kissing the shell of her ear. Dayeon breathed in the natural scent of her mother, she missed the whiff of spices of the gukbap soup she has been obviously preparing.

Daya smiled at the taxi ahjussi, "Thank you", she retrieved Dayeon's box from the man and paid him. They bowed to each other and the man got into his cab, driving away.

"My grandbaby", Seolran said, staring at the girl who was surrounded with the bags the girls came home with. The old lady chuckled, coming up to her. She embraced the girl. Daya sighed, bending to her grandma's height to hug her properly. She guesses that this is how it will be now. Her grandma welcoming her and her mother being totally absorbed by Dayeon. She wasn't jealous or anything, but she felt bad about the way her mom was only concerned about Dayeon.

What about her?.

Maybe this was the way Dayeon would always feel when she was the only one in SKKU. All those times when Daya was showered with the attention whenever she came back from school. Daya could ascertain now that it wasn't a nice feeling to experience.

She buried her face in her grandma's nape. "Haemoni", she whispered softly.

Seolran rubbed her back. She could see her daughter being all over Dayeon and she realised she should talk to Damin about her actions today. Both girls were exhausted from the semester in a city so far from home and needed to be hugged by their mother.

First daughters are humans too.

Wow!!!!!!. The semester is over and I went over to my roommate's place since it's just a short break of two weeks and my home is a long journey from the state my school is located in while the state her home is in, shares a boundary with our college's state, so yeah!. I decided to finish this draft that has been here since the 20th of December, 2024. It's 19th April, 2025. Such a long time, yes, and I apologise dearly.

Happy Easter in advance, xoxo.
