It was hard.

Seungmin, obviously, didn't find it funny. Neither did Nari, when she was told of what transpired between the three. His friends though, found it to be the craziest but funniest incident since autumn resumption. They wouldn't shut up about it. Seungmin decided to ignore them.

"Atleast you had a good time, yes?", Felix mused.

Seungmin took in a very deep breath to stop himself from headbutting him. He slid into a seat beside Jisung only because he didn't have much of a choice.

"Hey", Jisung greeted.

Seungmin looked at him. "Yeah. Hey", he greeted back. He was sure that if it wasn't for their little quarrel, Jisung would be teasing him too. Deep within, he appreciated that.

"Hey", a chirpy voice greeted sitting next to Seungmin. Both roommates looked at the person. Yesun smiled.

"I thought you stopped existing", Seungmin said without filter.

"I thought same too", Jisung added. Both boys looked at each other, rolling their eyes. Jisung laughed. "So?"

"Yeah, whatever. Apology accepted, although you never apologised", Seungmin said, facing front as they both ignored the girl.

"I apologised", Jisung defended.

"Hey?", Yesun repeated. They looked at her again. "Hey. What do you want?", Seungmin asked, staring her down.

"To be acknowledged atleast"

"I thought we broke up?", Seungmin asked loudly and their yearmates were looking at them.

Yesun scoffed. "We never-"

Seungmin raised a brow, urging her to finish the sentence and say it was a lie. She had played his girlfriend last semester, making everyone go for Daya's throat.

Yesun flipped her hair over her shoulder. She came close to Seungmin. "I wasn't the one who spread the news back then that you ditched me for Daya on our birthday", she honestly said. "But I didn't address it because it was in my favour", she turned her head to him, staring at his perfect side profile. "I guess you and Daya have so many enemies", she tittered, moving away.

Seungmin didn't let her go further, grabbing her wrist, he tugged her forward. "We should correct something", he whispered directly into her ear. "There is no me and Daya. I hope that helps", he pushed her off.

Yesun glowered at him. "Or maybe because you two haven't been caught?"

To her dismay, the boy smirked. "And you think you can catch me?", he laughed, looking away from her. Jisung hugged him to his side. "That was chef's kiss. Your hyung is proud"

"Hyung, my ass", Seungmin scoffed, staring at the professor that just came into class. Professor Sooyoung smiled and only the boy and his friends knew that the smile was for Kim Seungmin.

She is back.

"That's a pretty necklace", Yeji complimented. She touched it before the girl could protest, bringing it out for everyone to see.

Ari stared at the silver necklace. The five clustered stars and the stray one, further down, mocked her. She smirked, looking down at her phone. That was the same necklace on Seungmin.

Daya covered the necklace with her hand, getting Yeji's fingers off. "Yes. I hear that often. Thanks", she tapped the end of her pen against her open notebook. "Have you found the answers?"
