"What's with this atmosphere?", Hyunjin chuckled. He placed his glass on the table, rubbing his hands together. "Daya, come in", he invited.
Daya moved her eyes to him. She never thought he would be one to give her such a welcoming invite. She smiled, taking one step further. "Thank you"
"You are dripping water over the floors", Jeongin told her. They all expected her to remove the raincoat but she just offered a quiet apology.
"You are not taking it off?", Jisung asked when she refused to move. The roommates were only worried about their floors.
"Uhm...", Daya mumbled. She wasn't comfortable wearing that dress in front of them. She stared through the boys, they were all looking at her. If Daya wasn't strong-minded, she would have been running down the halls by now. She hooked her fingers on the zip and dragged it down. Gently, she shrugged the raincoat off.
Changbin and Felix who were behind her, had their brows jumping at her tanned naked back. The other boys, tucked their lips into their mouth at the front of the dress.
Seungmin finally reacted. He drank the wine in his glass and came to her, shrugging his hoodie off. He draped it over her shoulders and zipped it up, proceeding to stare into the girl's eyes. "I have been waiting for you", he spoke up, collecting the raincoat from her hand that were in place due to his zipped up hoodie.
"He was", Minho supported as the boy moved away from her to go hang the coat. "Maybe you should have sent a text when it started raining?. That you can't make it or you would be coming over. Something like that?"
"I apologise for not doing that", Daya answered.
"Do you drink?", Felix asked, walking past her and to the other boys.
Daya looked up from the floors. "I do. Why?"
"Come and have a glass", Jisung ordered.
Daya kept her eyes as its normal size. She was being offered a drink by a senior, so being quite a respectful kid, she pulled her shoes off and walked to him in her socks.
Jisung smiled a bit. It was the most they have interacted since he spent time at her home.
Seungmin came back with a glass. He unzipped the hoodie, opened her hands and put it there. "Thank you", Daya said. She went on her knees, stretching her glass forward to Jisung who was sitting on the couch, a bottle of wine in his hand. He poured her some drink and Daya looked sideways, bringing the glass to her mouth. She drank up the whole liquid without a pause.
Seungmin's friends clapped for her and she felt her cheeks warm just as her insides churned from the strong wine.
"Good. Good!", Minho cheered. He stood up again with his empty glass. "We will leave now", he informed and his younger boys all stood up, about to give the celebrant some space.
Daya gave up her glass to Jeongin. The boy cleared the place and left with his hyungs, the wine and glasses in their hands.
Daya looked down at her fingers on her laps when the door shut. She blew out a breath. "I'm sorry", she started. "I knew you wouldn't like me coming over but I still went ahead and did as I wanted. I am sure you thought I would treat you out", she chuckled darkly to herself, staring at the cream coloured couch where his friends had been sitting.
"Why do you have to apologise for that?"
Daya glanced at him from over her shoulder. "I shouldn't?", she got up, turning to him. "You are mad at me for coming here"
"I'm not mad, Daya", Seungmin said. "Yes, I was waiting for something from you and I declined going out with my friends for that. I waited and I got nothing. They came over instead to stay with me"
