"Hyung, are you sure about this?", Jeongin asked, glancing at him in worry.
Minho nodded. He promised to help her. It was high time he faced his reality anyway. Nayeon had left for the states with just a simple text to him. I hope you become happy with someone else who wants what you want, Minho-ya. He had to get out there and live again. Nayeon was doing just fine with her new lover. He should be doing just fine too.
Minho looked down at his phone. Seolyeon's text, about wanting to go to school today, stared back at him. She brought him out of that stupid pity party. He forgot for a second that he is in the final year of school. He had lectures to get to, assignments to turn in, projects to cover. The two boys stepped out of the dormitory's gates.
Seolyeon brought her hand up. It waved. "Hi", she smiled, eyes filled with hope for a new dawn for herself.
Jeongin nodded in acknowledgement. "Hyung, see you later then"
Minho hummed, watching the boy walk away first. He smiled at Seolyeon. "Hey"
"Yeah. Hey", Seolyeon looked him over. "Are you okay?", she asked, holding her tote bag's strap, a bit more tighter.
"Yeah. I am", Minho assured and they began their walk to school. A few students going for their morning classes and walking down the same roads, did spare them some looks but no-one could say anything. Not in Minho's presence anyway.
Seolyeon stared at the boy. "Are we boarding a shuttle?"
Minho glanced at her. "If you want?"
Seolyeon shook her head. She didn't want to be in a place clustered with students yet. Trekking will make her stall. "You will be fine", she heard Minho say.
I hope so.
She couldn't say the same to the boy even when it was on the tip of her tongue. She pushed it down. It wasn't her place to say. The last time she had seen Minho was at the engagement party. He was out of it that day. Yet, he claims to be just friends with the lady who just got engaged. Friends would be happy for such a happy ceremony. He wasn't. He was sad. He looked afraid to let go. Her. To let her go. Why does he still think that, that wasn't an ex?.
Now, this girl has been in a relationship. It was a good one for the first few years. She knew she do be hurt if Roseok had gotten engage in the past. But now?. She won't even be the slightest bit bothered. She didn't need Sherlock Holmes to tell her that that beautiful woman meant something more to Lee Minho. He either doesn't know or maybe he does, but just doesn't want to acknowledge it.
A creeping sadness came over her for him. An emotion that was dissipated when Minho's cool skin brushed against hers, holding her hand firmly. Seolyeon came out of her thoughts. She noticed the school's huge gates. Oh no. Minho squeezed her hand as they walked past other shocked students. He loves keeping promises. The most he can, and he will make sure he clears the mess around this girl.
It was still his fault in a way.

Hyunjin stared at the girls sitting at a table in the school cafeteria, chirping loudly. Daya and Ari sat so close to each other, unaware of the fact that they are lethal to one another. Maybe Jisung's suggestion about getting her away from them was the best thing he has ever thought off in his entire 23 years of life.
"Must you make everything so obvious?", Felix asked the buy next to him.
"Huh. What?", Hyunjin asked, heart at his throat. He feared maybe the boy caught onto something. Jisung and Seungmin were giving him deadly stares.
