Seungmin smoothly slid into his lecture room, successfully avoiding Jisung and Jeongin. He was ambushed by Hyunjin immediately. He groaned out in displeasure.

Hyunjin smirked at him. "Took your ass long enough to get here"

Seungmin pushed the boy out of his way, walking to the chairs to find a seat. Jongho smiled at him and he dropped next to him in a second. Hyunjin came over, pulling him. "Yah, let go!", Seungmin shouted, pulling his hand back.

"Get up", Hyunjin insisted, pulling him harder. Seungmin sighed, standing abruptly and the other, almost fell on a seated girl. It's not like she would have minded. Seungmin reluctantly followed Hyunjin to his previous seat. Felix smiled at the boy.

Seungmin rolled his eyes, sitting in the middle. He dropped his bag on the table. "Refrain from talking to me"

"Hi, Seungmin", Felix talked to him. "How was your little vacation thing with Chan hyung?"

"Splendid", he replied curtly.

"How is he?", Hyunjin asked softly.

"Great. Same with Seolee", Seungmin added for their information.

"Seolee?", Hyunjin's eyes rounded. "Yulhee's daughter?"

"I am surprised you remember her name"

Hyunjin tittered. Minho had mentioned it to him. He couldn't forget such a lovely name. Felix straightened his spine. "Did she find the actual father?"

"No"

"Will you keep doing that?", Felix asked.

"If you didn't get the memo, I'm trying to be mad at all of you", Seungmin looked at each boy.

"And well... you are failing", Hyunjin lovingly said. Seungmin glanced at him very briefly. The elder, shuddered. "You are winning"

Good.

Midterms were over and the students could finally breathe in peace. At least, till exams which were more than a month away. With the tests done, it just meant there were either more lectures or no lectures.

Daya, for her own sake, was studying harder than usual and Dayeon would tease her each day for it. She didn't know the reason but Nari did. Daya wasn't the type to relatively keep secrets from her. Just like other nights, Daya stayed alone in her room, studying her ass off. Ryujin had come for Nari in the evening and they were yet to return. Not like she was complaining, with all the big textbooks out in front of her, Daya could save up on fun.

A knock came on her window. The sound made Daya paused. She thought it to be a hallucination till the knock came again. Daya stood up, walking to the window that was on the other wall, facing the back of the dorms. She moved her curtains to the side, staring at Seungmin. A small scoff and she pulled it open. Seungmin got off the metal ladder attached to the wall, dropping into her room.

"Wow, Seungmin. The guards still patrol. Are you aware?", Daya asked, shutting the windows.

"Quite", Seungmin mumbled, brushing his black puma jacket off the night's condensation. He looked at her table, pursing his lips. "Are you failing classes?"

"Not yet", Daya replied with a snort. She drew the curtains close, turning to him. She wanted to ask where he had been but that wasn't her place to ask so she didn't.

Seungmin's eyes moved around the room. The bed by the door was yet to be dressed still. "Missing a roommate?"

"Yeah. Thankfully", Daya rubbed her arms, walking back to her desk. She sat down, picking her coloured marker again.
