"Is everything okay?", Daya had to ask, caressing the hands in hers.
"Yeah, why?", soft breathy words.
Daya could feel her lips being swollen and slightly bruised from his kisses. They were rough and they hardly were. Only when he wasn't really okay. "You are a bit aggressive", she breathed out.
Seungmin leaned away. He stared at her lips. "Oh. I'm sorry", he made to remove his hands from hers but she didn't let them go.
"I'm okay", Daya smiled.
"Really?"
"Yeah"
Seungmin leaned down again, kissing her lips for the second time. Except, he was gentle this time. Very gentle. Soothing her and apologising silently. He didn't mean to push his feelings unto her. He pulled away, their lips slightly grazing each other. "Can you do something for me?"
"What?", Daya asked, staring at his lips.
"You can never drop your guard around your friends"
Her eyes moved up, and to stare into his. "I know", she muttered. "I try not to"
"Good", Seungmin snaked his left hand around her waist, pulling her closer. "Your necklace. Ari has seen that, right?"
Said necklace sat on her skin, glittering in the darkness of her room. "Y-yeah. It wasn't on purpose"
"Oh I'm not blaming you", Seungmin whispered softly, rubbing his thumb against her night gown. "But can you stop wearing it for just a while?"
"Sure. She knows something?"
Seungmin shook his head. He didn't exactly lie. Ari was only suspecting him. She wasn't sure.
"And my bracelet?"
Seungmin looked down at her left wrist. The four silver butterflies seemed to glow even more. "You can keep that". Daya was happy to hear that. She had to wear atleast one to feel close to him. "How are your preparations for exams coming?"
"Great. I'm making efforts"
"And your sister?"
"I'm helping her out, the most I can. Her friends are also great people", Daya smiled a little. Dayeon had good people around her. "I don't have to ask about you, right?"
Seungmin nodded, his laughter gracing her ears. The beeps were heard and Daya glanced at the door. She had changed the password, so she knew it wasn't her sister. The door shut and the lights came on. Nari stopped her squeak.
Seungmin stepped back from Daya. "Well, hey"
"Hey", Nari greeted. This was different from that first time she do seen him in here. It is quite PG today. Thankfully. She dropped the shopping bags on the counter. "Will you stay for dinner?"
Seungmin looked at Daya. "Sure. Dinner. What are you making?", Daya tucked her lips away, her complexion changing. "Yes, Nari. What are you making?", she turned to the counter.
Nari stared at the two with her hands on her hips. They were staring back at her like kids who lost their mama. "Really?. What can I make if not cereals?"
Seungmin tilted his head up to stop his laughters. Oh Hyunjin has his hands full.
"I forgot", Daya did a small run to her. She looked through the bags. "What did you get?"
"Big lobsters for a hot sizzling soup", Nari replied.
Daya slapped the bags close. "Lobsters?"
"I was craving some. Dayeon too"
