"Happy 23rd birthday, Nari", Daya and Dayeon said in unison.

Nari laughed, cradling Jeonghan's daughter in her arms. They were facetiming each other and Nari was very appreciative that they made out time during work hours to celebrate with her.

"Hurry and blow out your candle", Dayeon urged.

"We have to do it together", Daya sensibly argued, shaking cupcake in her hand. Nari had a bigger cake on the dinning table with just one candle lit like Daya and Dayeon's. "1, 2, 3!", they all blew the candles out at the same time, in different places.

Jeonghan clapped in the background and turned the camera to himself. "Thanks a lot. I was really worried that Nari would only babysit on her birthday like the loner she is"

"Stop it, honey", Eunha scolded, relieving Nari of the duty of babysitting. "We will be having dinner together", she assured the Jeong sisters and they nodded.

"Bye, Nari. See you in school in 5 days", Daya said and Nari groaned, cutting a cake before waving. Everyone was so done with academic activities. The holidays should have lasted longer. The call ended and Daya's cheeks puffed out, "Let's get back to work. You can have the cake"

Dayeon was already eating the cake before her sister even permitted her. They snorted at each other. "I was hungry", the youngest defended.

"Sure. Sure", Daya opened her locker, putting her phone in and ensuring it was locked. "How do you feel about being a sophomore soon?", she rested her back on the locker.

Dayeon waved the plastic fork. "Good?", she chuckled. "I am looking forward to graduating"

Her elder sister laughed at the long dream. "I have to graduate before you. Don't be in such a rush", she smiled at Dayeon's filled cheeks. "Jisoo unnie didn't come back for summer break"

"Yeah. If she did, she would have come to work", Dayeon affirmed.

"Right", Daya folded her arms. "I wanted to pay up the 2 million she spent on Monhee"

"She probably won't accept it"

"I know, but the thought of wanting to return it, counts", Daya said, nodding to herself. "You get me?"

"Kind of", Dayeon replied. She scooped the last part of the cake and offered it to her sister. Daya smiled and ate it. "As long as we have each other, life will be better"

Daya covered her mouth, laughing and nodding. "Definitely, Dayeon. It has to be. I have done a lot and put up with a lot. It do be a shame if it doesn't"

"Mmh-hmm", Dayeon wiggled her brows and they laughed out, sharing an inner joke.

Life doesn't have to be complicated all the time.

"Yulhee's daughter is turning one tomorrow", Felix voiced out, pausing at the reminder.

"Really?", Minho asked. "Has it really been a year?"

"Yeah. I can remember it was on the 9th of September that she gave birth. We all had to go back to school from the hospital", Changbin replied, eating cereals with Seungmin at the kitchen counter of his home.

"Did you guys really have to do this right now?", Hyunjin lazily dragged his eyes to them.

"I just got a reminder", Felix innocently replied.

Jisung snorted, throwing his game pad on the couch after Jeongin won the last round of race. "Man, you used to adore Seolee"

"Don't get me wrong. I still do love the child. She is lovely", Hyunjin defended.
