By the next school week, everyone was hyper-aware of Daya's little sister being a student here. Daya wasn't sure if it were just those girls that spread the news, or if someone else helped them. Every single student was talking about her sister. In the dorms. At school.

The eldest sister was so worried for Dayeon, especially as she had classes to attend this morning. Nari tapped her thumb against her binder. "I told you this was bound to happen", she whispered down at the girl.

"I knew it was going to happen. I knew", Daya affirmed. She stared at Dayeon through the window of her class. She knew. She just wanted a miracle to happen. But miracles don't always happen to Daya.

"So, what are you going to do?. Miss classes and watch her take hers?", Nari asked. To her surprise, the girl nodded. "No. You can't do that. Our midterms on Business Administration is today by 12pm, Daya"

Daya also knew that but she didn't want to leave the girl all alone. She must be having it worse as her name keeps staying on people's lips and people staring at her. It must be nerve-wracking. Her little sister was at the mercy of these wolves.

Daya flinched when a hand rested on her shoulder. She stared up at Nari. "Y-yes?"

"You can't do anything, Daya. Your sister is still a student her and she will find out. You won't be with her everywhere", Nari tried to tell her.

Daya sighed. She cast one long look at Dayeon and walked away with Nari. "Did you manage to revise anything?. My mind is blank", she truthfully let out.

"Oh, that's not good", Nari murmured.

Daya also knew that.

"You have less than an hour to answer every question on your paper and into the exam booklets", Professor Jessi said, looking through the sea of students. "No side talks. If you have any thing that could implicate you..", she smiled, "Bring it out now", none of her students moved. "Good. I believe in all of you to get good grades"

Daya breathed out slowly. She continued this act for a long time while the professor went on about good grades. Daya wasn't sure she will be making one. With everything happening around her, she hasn't been able to focus much on her studies. She knew that Dayeon coming to Sungkyunkwan University, will make a mess of her. She just didn't expect thus this too.

"Are you okay?"

Daya looked sideways and found Jisung's eyes. She nodded. "Yes. Yes. I'm okay", she looked at her desk again.

It's just midterms, Daya. Certainly, it won't kill you.

When Jeong Daya recieved her papers, her eyes rushed through the question paper. She saw a vision of an E. If not F. Yes, it will kill her and her grades. She wanted to ask the professor why the questions were so hard but most students were already writing. Daya felt like crying. She has been quite a good student with favourable grades. Third year wasn't looking like hers.

Shrugging her pathetic emotions away, she picked a pen, went through the first question. Skip. She moved to the next. It was about the Risk and Reward of the stock market and even that, Daya couldn't answer it. She felt her mother's tsk in her ears. Her right hand shook. Smoothly, she covered it with her left hand.

Or smooth she thought she was. The boy behind her, had been studying her from the moment she came into this hall. He had written a few tests and even exams with her but this had to be the worst state he has seen her in. And it's just a midterm test.
