I stare at her ass as she walks off pissed at me. Who the hell is she and why isn't she in my bed?

"You're drooling, Gray." Jake sneers from across the table.

I smirk.

"Did you see her? Who wouldn't?" I say.

He chuckles and shakes his head.

"Dude, Coach has been on my ass about that stupid penalty I got in the last game." Brennen complains.

"He's always on my ass about the stupidest shit ever." Jake says.

I chuckle as I take a sip of my beer.

"Yeah, of course, Gray thinks this is funny. Coach praises you." Jake sneers.

I shrug.

"Who wouldn't? I'm a sex god, everyone wants me." I say as I smirk.

"Here's your drink." I hear a voice say from next to me.

I look over and see the pretty waitress come back with Brennen's soda. I watch her intensely as she places his drink in front of him.

"Can I get you guys anything else?" She asks.

"You can come home with me." I smile.

She looks at me and glares.

"I'd rather die." She says before walking off, giving me another great view of her ass.

Jake chuckles.

"Everyone wants me." He mocks me.

I roll my eyes.

"Shut up." I snap.

"Aw, did the pretty waitress hurt your ego, big guy." Jake laughs.

"You guys are assholes, plus you all know that I'm a girl magnet." I smirk.

They all chuckle.

"It's because you're the star hockey player." Brennen says.

I shrug.

It was true. I was the best hockey player on the team, I mean I'm not trying to brag but when you've been playing hockey since you were 6 it's hard not to brag. My dream is to play for the New Jersey Devils, the one thing I've been working towards my whole life.

"What? You guys really don't think I can get with her?" I ask.

"Nope, I don't, the girl is stubborn as fuck." Brennen says.

I roll my eyes.

"Fine, I'll bet 40 bucks that I'll hookup with her by the end of winter break, and she'll be in a relationship with me." I smirk.

Brennen chuckles.

"Fine, why not? Deal." He smiles.

I nod before looking over at the girl, she was at the bar wiping down the counters.

"Watch this." I say before I get up and walk over to her.

I stop across from her and smile.

She looks at me and rolls her eyes before going back to her job.

"Listen," I start as I look down at the name tag on her uniform. "Taylor".

"Taylor, I'm sorry for being such a jackass to you." I go on.

She ignores me and turns her back to me as she begins to organize the wine glasses on the back shelf.

I sigh before making my way to the other side of the counter. She stares at me.

"You can't be back here dumbass." She snaps

"Go on a date with me, Tay-Tay." I smile.

"You're kidding." She laughs.

"No, no I'm not. I wanna go on a date with you." I repeat.

"No." She says before she pushes past me and makes her way into the kitchen.

I groan before making my way back to my table.

"So you still wanna bet?" Brennen asks

I glare at him.

"Yes. I do." I say.
