"All I Ask"- Adele

I packed all my things up and stuffed them into my backpack while Noah continued to ramble about his weekend. He was a party person, he partied every weekend, I don't know how his liver was still working after the amount of alcohol he consumed.

"Don't you think you should take a break from drinking this week?" I ask him as I stand up from his seat and wait for him to finish packing his things up.

"Hell no, I'm having way too much fun. Plus, you only live once." He tells me.

"You won't be living if you keep drinking every weekend." I remind him.

He gives me a pointed look and I just smile before my boyfriend appears behind me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Hi." I smile as I look up at his pretty face.

"Hi, Tay-Tay." He smiles.

"Hi, Garrett." Noah voices. I look over at my friend and see him giving my boyfriend a flirtatious smile.

"Hi, Noah." Garrett smirks at him.

"How's hockey?" Noah asks.

I smile and shake my head at him. His obsession with my boyfriend was entertaining to watch. Everytime he was around, Noah would try to flirt with him. I didn't care, I knew Garrett was mine for keeps.

"Great as always." Garrett tells him.

"We're going to go now. Bye, Noah." I chime in as I take my boyfriend's hand and lead him out of the class.

"Bye, Garrett!" Noah calls as we leave the classroom.

I laugh as we walk out of the lecture hall, Garrett wraps his arm around my shoulder and keeps me tucked close to him.

"He has a massive crush on you." I tell him.

"Oh, I know. It's hilarious." He smiles.

I roll my eyes, playfully, "Of course you're enjoying the attention."

He shrugs, "I can't help it."

I smile up at him as I wrap my arms around his torso and give him a side hug, "I love you." I say.

"I love you back." He tells me before he falls silent. I look up at him and frown at his dull facial expression.

"Are you okay?" I ask him.

He sighs before he stops walking and turns to face me. I feel my heart race as I look at him, was he gonna break up with me? God, no. Everything is going so well, we're happy. Why would he end it? Taylor, chill out. He didn't even say anything yet.

"I actually want to talk to you about something." He begins.

"Okay...what is it?" I ask, my voice shaking a little.

"Not here. You're meeting me at the rink later, right?" He asks.

"Yeah."

"Okay, we'll talk tonight then." He smiles.

"You're scaring me." I think out loud.

He shakes his head, "No, don't think too much about it. We'll talk about it tonight, okay?"

I sigh as I study his face. I was so confused. What happened? Was it something with his dad? God, I hoped not. But that means he was going to break up with me, right? I hoped it wasn't that either.

"Yeah, we'll talk tonight." I give in, my heart ready to smash into a million pieces.

"Good." He smiles before he leans in and kisses me, passionately.

I was taken back by his passionate kiss, if he was going to break up with me he wouldn't kiss me like this. Right? Oh my god, I'm losing my mind right now.

We pull away and I force a smile on my face as I look up at him, "I love you." He says.

"I love you back." I tell him, hoping it would keep him here with me forever.

Don't leave. Please. Don't leave me, Garrett. I trust you. Don't leave like my dad did. Don't do that to me. I won't be able to handle it.

He walked me back to my place and he acted like everything was fine but I could tell something was off. My gut was telling me that something was going to happen. Something I wasn't ready for. We stop in front of my apartment door and I turn to him, "Wanna come inside?" I asked him because I didn't want him to leave. Because I was afraid that if he left, he wouldn't come back.

"I gotta go home to get changed for practice. But I'll see you tonight." He explains.

No. Please. Don't go.

"Oh, okay." I try to hide the fear and disappointment in my voice.

"I'll text you, baby." He smiles.

I nod before he leans in and places a kiss on my cheek, "I love you." I say.

"I love you more." He whispers before he turns around and walks down the hallway.

I watch as he walks away with my heart in his hands. Please, come back. Don't leave me.

I wanted to stop him, run after him, yell at him. But I couldn't. I needed to mentally perpare myself for tonight. Because I didn't know where it was gonna go. And I wasn't sure if I was ready to find out.
